He was 64. He was born August 17, 1940 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Joseph E. and the late Susie Rose Conklin Sr. He was the widower of the late Alvina Gannon. A fisherman and hunter, he loved the outdoors. He was also a member of the Wurtsboro Moose Lodge. Surviving are, step-son, Michael Hand of Fair Oaks, NY; sister, Peggy Sink of Slate Hill, NY, also nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Carl K. Conklin and Joseph E. Hansen, Edgar Edgar Hansen, a lifelong area resident and retired surveyor for Vanduzer Wallace in Goshen, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Orange County Residential Health Care Facility in Goshen. He was 90. The son of John N. Hansen and Marie Jurgenson Hansen, he was born February 19, 1915 in Goshen. Edgar was a World War II veteran, Merchant Marines, and during the war, he was 32 days in a life boat after his ship had been torpedoed and sunk. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Goshen; Goshen Masonic Lodge; Dikeman Engine and Hose Company; and former warden and vestryman for St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen. Survivors include his wife, Kathryne Smythe Hansen at home; sons, Edgar Hansen Jr. and wife BethAnn of New Paltz, Reverend Thomas Parker Hansen and wife Nancy of Kearney, Neb.; daughter, Kathryne Chase Hansen of Hartsdale, N.Y.; one grandson Christopher Parker Hansen of Kearney, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 29 with a Rite of Christian Burial with Eucharist at St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen. Father Carl Lunden will officiate. McCoy, Jean Ann Jean Ann McCoy, 77, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2005 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in New York City on May 15, 1927, she was the daughter of Raymond and Margaret Cook Groll. She moved to Sullivan County after marrying Francis McCoy on February 15, 1947. She was the retired X-ray technician and office manager for Dr. J. Arthur Riesenberg. She worked for him for over 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Liberty, where for many years she was actively involved in organizing and preparing many church dinners. She loved doing crafts, knitting afghans for her family and friends and watching cooking shows on TV. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Francis (Frank) McCoy, at home; one son, Francis (Frank) McCoy Jr. and his wife, Carole, of Liberty; and one sister, Marian Dirscherl of Bonita Beach, Fla. She also leaves behind the light of her life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: grandsons, Timothy S. McCoy and his wife, Dawn, of Neversink, and Christopher M. McCoy of Liberty; great-granddaughter Lindsay Nicole McCoy and great-grandson Aden John McCoy, both of Neversink; and several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Margaret Groll; brother, Raymond Groll, and daughter MaryBeth McCoy. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her family. Moczulski, 59, of Easton, Pa., died March 23, 2005 in Bethlehem, Pa. Born March 30, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he was a son of Louise Piekacz of Wilkes-Barre and the late Stanley Moczulski. He had been employed by Bihler of America and by the Bayer Corp. He was a graduate of Kings College and served in the Air National Guard and Reserves. He was a member of Forks United Church of Christ, Stockertown, where he taught Sunday School, was an elder and served on various church committees. Survivors include his mother; his wife of 11 years, the former Cindy Snyder; two daughters, Rosanne Gesztesi and her husband Bela of Pine Bush and Laura at home; two brothers, James and his wife Mary and Robert and his wife Ann all of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and two granddaughters, Juliana and Alexandra. He was predeceased by a son, Thomas in 1996 and a daughter Angela in 1997. A calling period will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, Pa. Petrolo, Dorothy Genevive Dorothy Genevive Petrolo, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, entered into rest Thursday March 24, 2005 in Goshen, after a long illness. She was 88. The daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose Wald Liner, she was born February 24, 1917 in Newburgh. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother who spent her time, when not working, volunteering in the community with various agencies such as Meals on Wheels. She attended Newburgh schools and was a graduate of Spencer Business College. Dorothy was co-owner of Petrolo's Oil Service in Newburgh for 30 years; was a member of the Moose Lodge along with her husband, Nicholas; and was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Newburgh. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Nicholas Petrolo, who lives with his daughter in the Town of Newburgh; her children, Nicholas Petrolo of Walden and Barbara Bourne of Newburgh; her grandson, Nicholas K. Russo, Dominick Francis "Dom-Bo" Dominick "Dom-Bo" Francis Russo, of Newburgh, a former carpenter for Heights Lumber and Miron Lumber and lifetime area resident, entered into rest Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the home of his daughter Barbara Ann in Wallkill. He was 82. Son of the late James and Barbara Russo, he was born November 12, 1922 in Cornwall. Dominick proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a member of Teamsters, a fireman of Middlehope Fire Dept., and a parishioner of St. Mary's Church. He was a loving and devoted husband of 60 years and a wonderful father, and will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elvira Russo, at home; two daughters, Barbara Ann Annacone and her husband Steven of Wallkill and Donna Conklin and her husband Timothy of New Windsor; three sisters, Angelina Navarro of Cornwall, Mary Lodato of Newburgh and Theresa Christiansen of New Windsor; two brothers, Samuel Russo of Middletown and Frank Russo of Maryland; five grandchildren, Steven Annacone and his wife Joy, Scott Annacone, and Jeffrey, Lori and Elizabeth Conklin; great granddaughter, Abigail Rose Annacone; and twenty two nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Anthony Russo, two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Russo, and his sister, Emily Graziano. Wilkins, Frances "Fran" Frances B. Wilkins (nee Bell) died March 22, 2005 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital at age 96. She was born on February 15, 1909 in Newburgh, the daughter of James and Bertha Bell. A graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, a member of the class of 1929, Teacher's College at New Paltz and the Agonian Sorority, she taught 5th grade at Gardnertown School in Newburgh. Married to Jack Wilkins, who predeceased her in 1992, she assisted in the family business, Wilkins Realty, Inc. An active member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Newburgh, she was a past Senior Warden, member of the Vestry and the Girl's Friendly Society. Fran was a past president of the Board of Trustees of the McQuade Home as well as the Newburgh YWCA. An avid golfer, she was a Life Member of the Powelton Club. She was also a member of the Community Garden Club and Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, Jay Wilkins and wife Anne; grandsons, Alan Wilkins and wife Allison of Ellington, CT, Kevin Wilkins and wife Tracey of Avon, CT, as well as great-grandsons, Zachary, Ethan and Jack Wilkins. Fran is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Powell of Newburgh, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at St. George's Episcopal Church, 105 Grand Street, Newburgh, NY with the Rev. Deborah Dresser officiating.
