He is survived by his parents, Russell and Catharyna Britt of Norfolk, Va.; his brother, David Loring Britt; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Rhoda Vail of Norfolk, Va.; and paternal grandparents, David and Bobbie Britt of Brandon, Miss. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Roger and Blanche Vail. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 29 at 2:00 PM at Lloyd Cemetery in Highland, N.Y. Eileen A. Caren, a longtime resident of Monroe, passed away Thursday March 24, 2005 at Woodland Nursing Inn, Lafayette, Calif. She was 90. The daughter of Oscar and Bridget Kiely Armand, she was born August 21, 1914 in Mt. Hope, Westchester County, N.Y. She married Edward John Caren of Monroe in 1935. Together they raised three sons, Edward, Michael and Brian. She was a bookkeeper at Star Expansion in Mountainville, N.Y. and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Monroe. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Ann Caren of Kelso, Wash. and Michael and Carol Caren of Moraga, Calif.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Guinup, Harriet McKenzie Harriet McKenzie Guinup of New Hampton, a former store keeper and artist, and three year area resident, died Friday, March 25, 2005 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 72. The daughter of William W. and Julia Robertson McKenzie, she was born June 5, 1932 in New York City, N.Y. She was a member of the Air Force during the Korean War and a member of the Sweet Adelines. Survivors include two sons, Mark Guinup and his wife, Jeanice, of New Hampton and Michael Guinup and his wife, Ginny, of Savanah, Ga.; one sister, Bonnie McKenzie of Tuxedo Park; five grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Goodwill Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2117 Route 208, Montgomery. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Kennedy of Middletown, a lifelong resident of the area having retired after 43 years from the Orange County Trust Company, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at St. Teresa Nursing Home in Middletown, NY. She was 82. The daughter of the late Herbert J. and Margaret Carroll Kennedy, she was born on April 11, 1922 in Middletown, NY. Gertrude was an active member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She is survived by her nieces. Ronald "Billy" Lynch entered into Glory on March 25, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. The son of the late William Joseph and Irene Rita Lynch, he was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on May 30, 1931. He was a loving family member, as well as a devoted friend. He especially loved children, who adored him as well. His other great loves were first the Brooklyn Dodgers, and later, the New York Mets. Billy was an active member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church. He was also a beloved part of the Stony Ford Foundation Family as well as Hudson Valley D.D.S.O. Bill's family will be eternally grateful to all the members of these fine organizations. Bill was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Patricia Colangelo. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Hubert Colangelo; niece, Cathy Noguera and her husband, Randy; two nephews, George Colangelo and his wife, Julia, and John Colangelo and his wife, Eva; as well as several great-nieces and a great-nephew. Kathleen (Botbyl) Pinand, a homemaker, died Sunday March 27, 2005, at home. She was 84. She was a member of St. Mary's Seniors and Chaplain, and a member of the Pompton Lakes Seniors. Kathleen was born in Ellenville and lived in Pompton Lakes, N.J. before moving to Greenwood Lake. She was the widow of Albert Pinand, who predeceased her in 1976. She is survived by five loving sons: Albert J. Pinand of Ringwood, N.J., Jude Pinand of Greenwood Lake, George Pinand of Pompton Lakes, N.J., Paul Pinand of Hewitt, N.J. and Rex David Pinand of Pompton Lakes, N.J.; six loving daughters: Mary Frances Pinand of Greenwood Lake, Kathleen Janiak of Bloomingdale, N.J., Bonnie Marion Nolan of Pine Island, Theresa Maurin of Pompton Lakes, N.J., Ann Marie Palombi of Greenwood Lake, and Lorraine Poliey of Greenwood Lake; one dear sister, Marion Pulis; six dear brothers: Jack Botbyl of Claryville, N.Y., Donald Botbyl of Claryville, N.Y., Patrick Botbyl of Warwick, Eugene Botbyl of Washingtonville, Gerald Botbyl of Wanaque, N.J. and Howard Botbyl of Wayne, N.J.; 29 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Buddy Pinand in 1959, and two brothers, Richard Botbyl and William Botbyl.
