Robert M. Rosenthal, a former resident of Newburgh, died April 30, 2005 at Delray Beach, Fla. He was 58. The son of the late Jordan and Shirley Simon Rosenthal, he was born January 17, 1947. Robert was a 20 year veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Bregman of Denvers, Mass., and Linda Eckhaus of Las Vegas, Nev.; two aunts, Gladys Gordon of New Windsor, and Arlene Pager of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and nephews and niece: Aaron and Marc Bregman, Lee Franklin and Jill Eckhaus. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2005 at 3:00 PM in Temple Beth Jacob in Newburgh, N.Y. Burial will be in Temple Beth Jacob Cemetery in Newburgh. Schlueter, Elfriede "Margo" Elfriede "Margo" Schlueter, a resident of New Paltz, and a retired owner/ proprietor of Mountain Crest House in Gardiner, N.Y., died after a long illness on April 30, 2005 at Victory Lake Nursing Home in Hyde Park. She was 99. The daughter of Ignatz Martens and Maragarete Kimpel, both deceased, she was born October 10, 1905 in Bochum, Germany. She was raised and schooled in Germany. She was married to Otto Schlueter on October 20, 1945 in New Paltz, N.Y. Together they owned and operated the boarding house for 35 years. He predeceased her on December 10, 1993. After high school, Mrs. Schlueter attended Culinary School in Germany. Survivors include her granddaughter, Linda St. Pierre of New Paltz; two grandsons, Larry Ashton of Gardiner, and Robert Ashton of Shirley, N.Y.; son-in-law, John K. Ashton of Lake Katrine, N.Y.; great-grandsons: Matthew, Michael, Andrew, and Morgan St. Pierre of New Paltz; nephews: Harold Martens of Bochum, Germany, Juergen and Gert Martens of North Vale, N.J.; and niece, Ute Martens of Bochum, Germany. There will be a gathering at her granddaughter's home, 151 Plains Road, New Paltz, N.Y. at 5:00 PM on May 3, 2005. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, N.Y.
