Fox, Kenneth Tillson Kenneth Tillson Fox, a driver for Mahogany Ridge Limousine Service in LaGrange and resident of the area for many years, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 in the Town of Plattekill. He was 39. The son of Randall W. Fox and Carol Ann Cole, he was born July 1, 1965 in Newburgh. He was in the US Navy and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was active in church and Sunday school groups and baseball. He enjoyed family gatherings. Survivors include his wife Diane Mallon Fox of Marlboro; father Randall W. She was 89. The daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Kardazh Pedlock, she was born May 21, 1915 in Port Jervis. She was the widow of Nicholas A. Gallondorn. She attended St. Joseph's R.C. Church; was a member of Port Jervis Bowling League; Ladies Auxiliary Tri-State Naval Ship #7241; Port Jervis AARP; Matamoras Senior Citizens. She was also an avid bingo player. A remarkable man, the only son of the late Robert Knox and Helen Schmidt, he was born July 31, 1929 in Redwood City, Calif. Allan was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Boxer during the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the Navy using his GI Bill benefits, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Management from Colorado State University in 1958. He spent the next 30 years as a Forester in the USDA, Forest Service, spending most of his career in Red Lodge, Montana and Milford, Pa. In 1962, he married Sheila C. Culhane of Rockford, Ill. and together they raised five children and taught them how to live, love and make their own way in the world. After retiring in 1988 from the Pinchot Institute for Conservation Studies, he started a successful consulting forestry business, which he continued until his death. A very active member of the community, he served on or with the Milford Shade Tree Commission, Pike County Conservation District, was the treasurer of the Pinchot Chapter of the Society of American Foresters, local Rotary Club member and worked for Pike County as Gypsy Moth Coordinator. A gruff, old bear, he was honest, hard-working, and never had to back up to the pay window. He was predeceased in death by his wife of 34 years. McMahon, Ann Marie Sr. Ann Marie McMahon, of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in New Windsor, entered into rest Monday, May 2, 2005 in New Windsor. She was 66. Daughter of Peter and Mary (Meere) McMahon, she was born November 8, 1938 in New York City. Sr. Ann Marie entered into religious life on September 8, 1956 at Mount St. Joseph, New Windsor, where she made her first vows on April 29, 1959, and final vows on April 29, 1962. She was educated in St Michael's High School in Manhattan, graduated from Fordham University in 1965 with a BS in Education, and graduated from Xavier University in 1975 earning her MS in Education. Her ministry included serving as a teacher for St. Paul's Elementary School in Yonkers, St. Michael's Elementary School in Manhattan, and St. David's School in Houma, LA. She also served as principal of St. Bartholomew School in Yonkers from 1983 until 2004. She served her Congregation as Temporary Professed Director from 1978-83 and 1992-97; and as a Member of the Executive Board from 1987-91. Survivors include her brother, James McMahon and his wife Anna Marie of Plainview, NY; and her niece, Anna Marie Why and her husband Geoff and their family of Watertown, MA.
