Graveside services for Mr. William J. Ashworth, age 87, late of Westbrookville, N.Y., will be held Saturday May 7, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Westbrookville Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion. The Rev. Elnora Mae Barnum, known affectionately as Bobbie, entered into rest Wednesday May 4, 2005 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty. She was 91. The daughter of the late Christopher Van Dusen and Neva Elnora Dutcher Van Dusen, she was born April 9, 1914 in Allaben, N.Y. She was the widow of Leon "Barney" Barnum, who predeceased her on December 27, 1967. Bobbie worked as a receptionist for several Monticello doctors including Dr. Goldfarb, Dr. Kornblum and Dr. Gavis. She eventually moved to Neversink and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Salisbury and husband, Robert, of Neversink; a stepson, Eugene Barnum and wife, Jeane, of Toledo, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Louise MacFarland and husband, Albert, of Joliet, Ill.; two grandchildren, Theresa "Teri" Somers and William "Billy" Somers, Jr.; four great-grandchildren: Christa, Andrew, Matthew and Christian; several nieces and nephews; and her many friends at the Sullivan Co. Adult Care Center. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Judith Mikelenas. Visitation will be held on Friday, (today) May 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Egbertson, Grace Anna Grace Anna Egbertson, a lifelong resident of the area and retired dietary supervisor at Orange County Residential Health Care Facility in Goshen, died Wednesday May 4, 2005, at Orange County Residential Health Care Facility, Goshen, N.Y. She was 88. The daughter of Alison Howell and Sadie Burger Howell, she was born February 9, 1917 in Goshen, N.Y. Grace was the widow of Marshall Egbertson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jean Egbertson of Goshen; sister, Edith Matern of Gainesville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sue Ellen Boxman and John Egbertson, Jr.; three great-grandchildren: Sean Boxman, Kyle Boxman and Brandon Egbertson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Marshall, she was predeceased by her son, Chief John H. Egbertson, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2005 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, N.Y. He was born January 19, 1982 in New Port Richey, Fla., the son of Christopher and Helen Porter Feagles. A graduate of Gulf High School in New Port Richey, Fla., he worked as a cable splicer for Scope. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fianc‚e, Kristen Krahn; two sons, Austin Ryan and Tyler James Feagles, both at home; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Cawlfield, of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Kevin; a sister, Christen Feagles; and a nephew, Shaun Feagles, all of New Port Richey, Fla.; his grandparents, Estella and Kenneth Youngman of Warwick; uncles: Timothy Feagles of Warwick, Jeffrey Feagles and his wife, Barbara of Waywayanda, Douglas Feagles and his wife, Sharon, of Loveland, Ohio, William Porter and his wife, Lek, of Korea, and George Porter and his wife, Maryellen, of Hartford, Conn.; two aunts, Ruth Clapp of New Port Richey, Fla., and Jane Leach of the state of Washington; and also several cousins from New York State and Florida. He was predeceased by his grandfather, James H. Feagles and his grandparents, William and Kitty Porter. Peck of Glen Arden in Goshen, a Chief Electrical Engineer having retired from Orange and Rockland Utilities, died Thursday May 5, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus in Goshen, N.Y. He was 90. The son of Henry and Margaret Cunningham Peck, he was born on June 25, 1914 in Wurtsboro, N.Y. He was the widower of Vivian F. Peck. Mr. Peck was a Class of 1933 graduate of Middletown High School, as well as having graduated from Bliss Electrical Academy in Maryland. He was a member of the Monhagen Hose and Salvage Co. for over 60 years; he served as past president and had been honored as Monhagen of the Year. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Middletown. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Marion L. Peck, of Glen Arden; and his daughter, Donnalee Helhoski and her husband, Ronald, of Middletown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tracey Helhoski and David Helhoski; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Gary M. Peck. Prall, Nona Nona Prall, of Sloatsburg, N.Y., died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Ramapo Manor Center for Rehabilitation. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Prall was born on September 12, 1906 in Tuxedo, N.Y., to John and Sophronia DeGraw Conklin where she was raised and attended local schools. She married Peter Prall on August 16, 1925 in Monroe, N.Y. Peter died in 1971. Nona worked for Avon in Suffern for over 10 years. She was an honorary member of the Sloatsburg Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary, the Sloatsburg Seniors and a member of the Town of Ramapo's 90th Club and of St Elizabeth's Church in Eagle Valley. Mrs. Prall is survived by her 2 loving children, her daughter Marguerite Sutherland of Sloatsburg and a son Peter R. Prall of Greenwood Lake; 3 cherished grandchildren, Shawn Forehand of Georgia, Gregory Prall of Sloatsburg and Brian Prall of Greenwood Lake; four great-grandchildren John Forehand of Georgia, Ariel Prall of Sloatsburg, Cheryl and Peter Prall of Greenwood Lake; and four great-great-grandchildren Madeline, Nathan, Lydia and Evelyn Forehand of Georgia. Robertson, Leonard Leonard Robertson, 84, of Colonie Manor, died Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Saratoga Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in London England he had been a resident of the Hudson Valley Region most of his life. He was an owner operator of an Atlantic Service station in New Paltz for many years before becoming a foreman for over 30 years with Virtis Scientific Corp in Gardiner, N.Y., retiring in 1985. He was a past member of the Elks Club in New Paltz, and a veteran of British Royal Air Force. Predeceased by his wife Edna M. (Morgan) Robertson. He is survived by his loving daughter Corliss (Len) Tantillo of Nassau and a son David (Karyn) Robertson of Gansevoort, a sister Peggy Robertson of United Kingdom. Also survived by 4 granddaughters Wenonah McLauchlin, Edra Nehme, Jennifer and Kathryn Robertson, and a great-granddaughter Celina Nehme. The daughter of Odelle Lewis, she was born December 22, 1944 in Wilson, N.C. Survivors include her mother, Odelle Lewis of Ellenville; one daughter, Satira Hill of Somers Point, N.J.; two sons, Timothy Stone of Schenectady, N.Y., and Lamont Stone of Wilmington, N.C.; four grandchildren: Isiah, Daryl, Marjana, and Anesia; her church family, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
