He was a US Army Viet Nam veteran. He was a member of the Marsch-Kellogg American Legion Post #139, Milford, Pa. The son of Raymond and Helen (Rowley) Collins, he was born in Jersey City, N.J. on February 28, 1947. Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Collins of Dingman's Ferry, Pa.; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Curry of Ferndale, N.Y.; one sister, Margaret Burke of Lancaster, Pa.; two brothers, and sisters-in-law, Edward and Gen Collins of Easton, Pa. and Richard and Betty Collins of Lancaster, Pa.; and a granddaughter Sara Collins. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Silver Lake Road, Dingman's Ferry, Pa. The Rev. Niels Nielsen will officiate. Lodato, Mary Elizabeth Mary Elizabeth Lodato, a lifetime area resident, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup, Washington. She was 80. Daughter of the late James and Barbara Perrone Russo, she was born April 14, 1925 in Cornwall on Hudson. She married the late Americo Lodato on July 7, 1946 in St. Thomas Church, Cornwall. A family statement reads, "Mary will be lovingly remembered as a loving and devoted wife of 49 years, and a loving, dedicated mother and sister. Mary enjoyed spending time with, her family, bingo, crossword puzzles and politics." Survivors include her daughter, Susan Marie Ann Solscheid of Puyallup, Washington; her sisters, Angelina Navarra of Cornwall and Theresa Christianson of New Windsor; her brothers, Samuel Russo of Middletown and Frank Russo of Maryland; 19 nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her son, Richard Nicolas Lodato, her sister Emily Graziano and her brothers, Joseph, Thomas and Dominick Russo. Mammen-Sienko, Courtney Elizabeth Courtney Elizabeth Mammen-Sienko, 2-week-old infant daughter of Vikki Lee Mammen and James A. Sienko Jr. of Port Jervis, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J. She was born May 6, 2005 in Port Jervis. Surviving besides her parents are three brothers: Dustin Shayne Mammen, Kyle John Dodge & James Allen Sienko, III; two sisters: Ashley Nicole Sienko & Jenniffer Lynn Sienko; maternal grandparents: John & Nancy Krupunich of Port Jervis; paternal grandparents: James A. Sienko Sr. of Greeley, Pa. and Theresa Maple Zajaks of Harriett, Ark.; great-grandmothers: Ann Ouslander of Huguenot and Theresa Sienko of Matamoras, Pa.; also aunts, uncles & cousins. Poley, a lifetime resident of Liberty, died Thursday May 19, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center Middletown. He was 55. He was born in Troy, N.Y. on June 28, 1949 to the late Stephen H. and Marthalee Holland Poley. He was a food service worker at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, having started in 1967. A family statement reads,"Stephen dedicated 37 years to the residents at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, whom he considered his second family. He was an especially favorite Uncle to his Nieces and Nephews." He was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church. Stephen is survived by three brothers Thomas H. Poley and his wife Marlene of Neversink, Daniel R. Poley and his wife Diane of Hunter, and James C. Poley of Bovina, and one sister Janice M. Poley and her husband Larry Jeannott of Poughkeepsie. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and several cousins. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Ramsay's Funeral Homes, Inc., 275 South Main Street, Liberty. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Bridgette Le Coney at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery, Cold Spring Road, Liberty. Ranker, of Shohola, Pa., a retired accountant and a 15-year resident of the area, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Bon Secour Hospital in Port Jervis. He was 79. The son of the late Anthony and Gertrude Dolan Ranker, he was born July 20, 1925 in Summit, N.J. He was married to Geneva Martin Ranker for 54 years. Richard was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp. having served as Staff Sergeant during WW II. He was a member of the 29th Bomb Group having flown over Guam. He received three Bronze Stars. A family statement reads, "Richard was a loving and devoted husband. He loved his dogs, nature and living in the mountains in Shohola." Survivors include his wife, Geneva at home; two nieces, Joan Abery and her husband Donald of Wyalusing, Pa. and Patricia Smith and her husband Malcolm of Summerville, Ga.; as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Ranker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 12 noon at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Shohola, Pa. The Rev. Thomas Petro will officiate.
