He was 86. Son of the late Luciano and Madeline Bucci, he was born July 16, 1918 in Newburgh, N.Y. Mr. Bucci proudly served his country during World War II; was a retired self-employed taxi driver; and was one of the original members inducted into the Fast Pitch Hall of Fame. He is survived by two sons, Lou Bucci and his wife, Agatha, of Marlboro, and Nick Bucci and his wife, Bonnie, of Marlboro; his daughter, Angel Colandrea and her husband, Mark, of Newburgh; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, Robert, Megan and Rebecca Bucci, Jennifer and Stephanie Thomas, and Adam, Renee and Louis Colandrea; eight great-grandchildren: Brian, Matthew, Jessica, James, Madeline and Hudson Bucci, and Kassondra and Logan Colandrea; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Burns, Laura Laura Sisco Burns, a retired hotel/factory worker and lifelong resident of the area, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 22, 2005 at ORMC, Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 85. Born in Warwick, N.Y. on February 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Violet Montanion Sisco. Laura was a loving and dedicated wife and mother, who will always be remembered by her family for her love of life, cooking and gardening. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Clifton James Burns at home; her daughter Sharon Tinnelly and her husband Daniel of Slate Hill; her son David Burns and his wife Lori of Middletown; two sisters Alice Smith of Smithfield, N.C. and Geraldine Joslin of Moosic, Pa.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Cynthia Ann Decker, a customer service representative for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Middletown and lifelong area resident, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at the South Florida Baptist Hospital, Plant City, Fla. She was 43. The daughter of Russell and Amelia Savarese Sauer Sr., she was born October 25, 1961 in Port Jervis. She was a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis. A family statement reads, "Cindy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She touched many lives with her strength. Despite the seriousness of her illness, the past few years, her sons and family were always her first concern. She will be missed by all those that came to know and love her." Kelly, of Warwick, a homemaker and over 40-year resident of the area, formerly of Brooklyn, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 with her family by her side. She was 82. The daughter of John and Maria Canavan Conboy, she was born on June 27, 1922 in Brooklyn. She was a member of St. Stephen Church in Warwick. Kim, Jaesik "Albert" Jaesik "Albert" Kim, of Middletown, a 22-year resident of the area, died at his residence on Sunday, May 22, 2005. He was 69 years of age. The son of the late Changjo & Cheonyeo Kim, he was born on March 11, 1936 in South Korea. He is survived by his beloved wife Yeongja Kim at home; his two sons Peter Kim of Middletown and Philip Kim of Astoria, Queens and his daughter Crystal and her husband Kerry Hannifan of Goshen. Mandzy, Myroslow "Marvin" Myroslow "Marvin" Mandzy, a retired machinist for Kylee and Mueller Co., Middletown and lifelong area resident, died Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center in Scranton, Pa. He was 87. The son of the late Jacob and Jessie Ewaskiw Mandzy, he was born March 15, 1918 in New York City. He was the widower of Mary Kowal Mandzy. He was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Matamoras, Pa.; a veteran of the US Army serving in the South Pacific during WW II; life-member and past commander of the Mountain Laurel V.F.W. Post #8612, Milford, Pa. He was also a retired bartender of Karstens Inn, Port Jervis and the Hotel Minisink, Port Jervis; member of the Teamsters Local 815, Englewood Cliffs, N.J. A family statement reads, "Marvin loved to entertain people with his jokes and songs at many events and occasions." Survivors include two sons, Carl Mandzy and his wife Beverlee of Matamoras, Pa., Michael Mandzy and his wife Susan of Matamoras, Pa.; one daughter, Anna Marie Latini and her husband Michael of Port Jervis; four grandchildren, Heather Tufano and her husband Joseph, Jennie Lynn Mandzy, Michele and Kathleen Mandzy; one great-grandson, Trevor J. Parker, a waitress for various places in New Jersey and resident of Highland since September of 2004, died May 23, 2005 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center. She was 64. The daughter of George Parker and Margaret Whalen, she was born December 10, 1940 in Red Bank, N.J. She was formerly of South Carolina and New Jersey. Survivors include five sons, Christopher Colvin of NYC, Gregory Colvin of Oakland, Calif., Michael Barger of Alaska, Joseph Barger of South Carolina and Brian Barger of South Carolina; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Reuter, a retired (1996) mechanical engineer for Texaco in Glenham, N.Y., died May 20, 2005 at his home. He was 70. The son of O. Robert Reuter and Cathrine "Kit" Manning, he was born September 10, 1934 in Plainfield, N.J. He married Carol Walsh on February 27, 1960 in St. John's in Beacon. Mr. Reuter was a resident of Wappinger since 1959. He received both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Rutger's University, graduating in 1959. At Rutger's, Mr. Reuter was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Pi Tau Sigma, Society of Sigma Xi. Survivors include his wife, Carol of New Windsor; three daughters, Cathleen and Lou Nettune of New Milford, Conn., Kim and Michael Kurylo Howell of Michigan, Cindy Reuter and Frank Gillespie of Maybrook; four grandchildren, Daniel and David Kurylo and Krysta and Dylan Gillespie. He was 52. Donald was born in Monticello on January 14, 1953 to the late Victor Vincent and Elizabeth Stangel Roman. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Donald is survived by one sister Victoria Vittuli and her husband Frank of Elmont, N.Y.; three nephews Jason, Frank and Richard; and two nieces Danielle and Victoria. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 25 at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Broadway and Liberty Street, Monticello. The Rev. Robert Ginel will be the Celebrant. Published in the Times Herald-Record on 5/24/2005. Warner, Dorothy E. Dorothy E. Warner, 88, originally of Milford, Pa., died on May 21, 2005 at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen. Dorothy was born in Milford, Pa. on August 7, 1916. She was the third child of John C. and Ella Kip Warner of Milford. A graduate of Milford High School in 1934 and Cedar Crest College in 1939, she found her career at the Johns Manville Corporation from which she retired in 1981. She was administrative assistant to the treasurer and managed the company's employee stock fund. She started with Johns Manville in New York and moved with them to Denver, Colo. In 1997 she moved to Glen Arden, a retirement community in Goshen. She recently gave a major gift to the Pike County Public Library to build a new library facility in Milford Borough. Dorothy is survived by her nephew Thomas Warner Hoff, his wife Jean, their children Thomas W. Hoff Jr. and Karen Myers Lucas and her children Thomas and Laura Myers. Funeral services and interment in the Warner lot in the Milford Cemetery will be be at the convenience of the family.
