He was 90. Son of the late Donato and Isabella Angelillo, he was born May 2, 1915 in Poughkeepsie. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Rhodes Angelo, who predeceased him in August, 1990; and his sweet companion, Josephine Martin, who predeceased him in June, 2004. Michael was a lifetime member of Lloyd Rod & Gun Club; Plutarch Rod & Gun, and Highland Senior Citizens. He served as committeeman for the Marlboro Republican Party and was a Peace Officer for the Town of Marlboro several years ago. He leaves behind his most loved nephew, Albert Angelillo and his wife, Carole, of Clintondale, and their children: Gina Angelillo of Queens and David and Mary Angelillo of Clintondale; great-grand nieces, Emily and Erica; loving nephew, John Angelillo of Florida; Shirley Downs of Florida, Daniel Angelillo, Marie Ackert and Dolores Ward, all of New Paltz; Lucille Ligotino of Texas, Elissa Canino of Highland, and Irene Howe of West Hurley. Blustein, Abraham "Al" Abraham "Al" Blustein, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2005, a resident of Park Manor in Middletown, N.Y. Born on August 13, 1910 in a small village near Krakow, Poland to Max and Sophie Blustein, he spent the early years of his life during World War I as a refugee, fleeing from the war in the Eastern Front. He emigrated to the United States at the age of ten and quickly assimilated into life as an American citizen. He was married to Ruth Siegel Blustein in 1934 and they lived in Sheepshead Bay, in Brooklyn, N.Y., where they shared a loving relationship for 68 years, until she predeceased him in 2002. Al will be remembered for his unfailing good cheer, his love of his adopted country and his family. He was predeceased by his sister, Gertrude Korn, and is survived by his sisters, Mary Tuckman and Ruth Rutstein. He is also survived by his daughter, Ellen Blustein Dempsey of New York, N.Y.; his son and daughter-in-law, Burt and Arlene Blustein of Middletown; grandchildren: Michael and Stacey Blustein of Middletown, and Glen and Stacy Blustein of Mahwah, N.J.; and his great-grandchildren: Hannah Blustein, Ileana Blustein and Rachel Blustein. Bohm, Hazel Hazel Bohm, a lifelong resident of the area and retired from the housekeeping department of the Holiday Inn in Middletown, N.Y., died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown, N.Y. She was 76. Daughter of James Smith and Matilda Reed Smith, she was born February 26, 1929 in Middletown, N.Y. Mrs. Bohm was the widow of Raymond Bohm. Born in Oceanside, N.Y., Mr. Grey grew up in Gardner, N.Y. and had lived in Baton Rouge, La. before recently moving to Vernon in October. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Son of Dorothy Bross Mackey and the late Frank Mackey, he was born June 18, 1952. He was married to Vicki Colandrea Mackey, who survives at home. A family statement reads, "Donald was a very loving and devoted husband and father." Donald was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, an avid bowler and a NY Yankees fan. He was also a member of the American Bowling Congress. From there he completed Airborne School, Ranger School and Air Assault School. He was a platoon leader with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C., where he was deployed to Haiti and Egypt. He was then stationed with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Ga. Michael served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He was called to duty again in January 2005 to serve in Iraq as Commander of Bravo Company 4-64. While there, he became Commander of Alpha Company 1-184 Infantry. He is survived by his loving wife, Bethany Mayers MacKinnon, formerly of Bloomingburg; daughter, Madison MacKinnon; son, Noah Michael MacKinnon; sisters: Diane Hulst and husband, Dennis, Laura Sullivan and husband, Michael, and Gail MacKinnon Meahl and husband, Carl, all of Helena, Mt.; as well as extended family in California, Ohio, Montana, Michigan and New York. Monson of Mountainville, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital after a courageous battle with thyroid cancer. He was 75. The son of Carl M. Monson and Elva S. Erickson Monson, he was born April 18, 1930 in Austin, Minn. He was a Corporate Construction Manager with Cablevision Industries in Liberty, and was also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Lucille Hand Realtor in Mountainville. Cecil served in the Air Force Intelligence during the Korean War, 1952-56; and was a member of the Orange County Board of Realtors. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hand-Monson, whom he married on April 3, 1987; his daughters, Laura Feligno and her husband, John of Geneva, N.Y., and Sheila Tustin and her husband, Tom, of St. Charles, Ill.; one son, Carl Monson and his wife, Kelley, of Geneva; stepchildren: Kenneth Hand and his wife, Marybeth, of Mountainville, Gail Vesely and her husband, Joseph, of Ellenville, Marin Hand and his wife, Mary, of Wallkill, and John Hand and his wife, Patricia, of Highland Mills; his sister, Shirley Tapp and her husband, Leslie, of Dexter, Minn.; three brothers: Loren Monson and his wife, Louise, of LeRoy, Minn., Ray Monson of Leroy, Minn., and Alan Monson and his wife, Nadine, of Bellvadere, Ill.; eight grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
