She was 91. The daughter of Lucas Bousono and Francisca Freire Bousono, she was born July 2, 1914 in Asturias, Spain. She was the widow of Avelino Arranz. Survivors include her daughter, Sonnia Ferb and husband Charles of Wallkill; sons, Carlos Arranz of Modena, Javier Arranz of Moyack, N.C.; daughter Sandra Martin and husband James of Elizabeth City, N.C.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; sister, Antonia Casuso; and three loving nephews of New Jersey. She was predeceased by two grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2 from 3-5 p.m. at the Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave. (Rte 208) in the Hamlet of Wallkill with a funeral service to follow immediately at 5 p.m. Interment will be private at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden. Bagailuk, Ted Ted Bagailuk, a lifetime resident of Hurleyville, and beloved husband of Shirley Bagailuk, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2005 with his loving family by his side. He was 81. The son of Alex and Mary Welhan Bagailuk, he was born December 5, 1923 in Hurleyville, N.Y. Ted was a World War II veteran; a retired bus driver for Rolling V Corp., and retired head bus driver for the Liberty Central School District. He was a member of the Luna Organization; Knights of Columbus; V.F.W. of Monticello; Old Bastards; New York State Blue Vests, and a life member of the Hurleyville Fire Department. Ted also attended the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Woodbourne. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shirley, at home; four daughters: Kathleen Simmons and her companion, Lou Capuzzoli, of Bloomingburg; Cindy Hook and her husband, Frank, of Roanoke, W.Va., Terri Pellam and her husband, Tim, of Liberty and Kristi Jouben and her husband, Mike, of Richfield Springs, N.Y.; and a special son-in-law, Richard Simmons of Hurleyville. He was the grandfather of Jessica, Michelle, Aaron, Kristin, Shane, Chuck, David, Pam and Jeremiah; the great-grandfather of nine and beloved uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sophia Fedun, and son, Robert Hillriegel. Callas, Peter T. Peter T. Callas of New Windsor, passed away on September 28, 2005 at home. He was 83. Peter was born in Kansas City, Kan. on September 7, 1922 to the late Thomas and Anna Callas. Peter served his country in the United States Army in the European Theater during World War II. He was a partner in the Perkins Restaurant in Vails Gate and Middletown. Peter was a Member of the Elks Lodge #1097 and the American Legion Post #0235 in Ohio. He is survived by his loving daughters, Joann Folatko and her husband, Robert, of Stow, Ohio, and Andrea Harst and her husband, Clyde, of Columbus, Ohio; five cherished grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn, in 1982; and his longtime companion, Irene Hill, in 2004. Korth, a longtime area resident, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old. The son of the late Martin and Florence Dinger Korth, Clifford was born October 22, 1922 in Goshen, N.Y. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. During his tour, he traveled excessively. Some of the countries he served in are Algeria, England, Italy, France, and Azores. Among the states, he traveled from New York and South Carolina. On July 31, 1943 he married the former Madeline Decker in North Congregational Church, Middletown. He was a member of the Plumbers Local 373 since 1946, and had previously served as the Otisville Village Building Inspector. Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Madeline, at home; one son, Clifford (Skip) Korth II of Otisville; son-in-law/son, Charles Wilbur of Otisville; three daughters: Barbara VanNatta and her husband, Tracy, of Jacksonville, N.C., Dawn Henderson and her husband, Arthur, of Otisville, and Kathleen Wilbur of Middletown; seven grandchildren: Tracy Jay VanNatta of Jacksonville, N.C., Shannon Decker and his wife, Christine, of Palmdale, Calif., Kelly Decker of Carlsbad, Calif., Wendy Migleori and her husband, John, of Wallkill, Christopher Henderson and his wife, Nicole, of Watervelite, N.Y., Kathleen Andrews and her husband, Louis, of Cuddebackville, and Jennifer Henderson and her husband, of New Paltz; three great grandchildren: Megan Migleori, Gage Decker, and Ella Decker; and many nieces and nephews. "Nancy" McGovern, a retired clerk at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen and resident of the area for 33 years, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Valley View Center and Rehabilitation for Nursing Care in Goshen. She was 73. The daughter of the late John Meyler and Anne Cowman Meyler, she was born December 7, 1931 in the Bronx. She was the widow of Eugene J. McGovern. She was a member of St. Anastasia Church in Harriman and past member of VFW Post 8858 Ladies Auxiliary, Harriman. Survivors include her son, John E. McGovern of Harriman; daughter, Catherine Singley of Springfield, Ga.; brothers Frank Meyler of Belle Mead, N.J. and Jack Meyler of Brooklyn; sisters, Rose Meyler of Denver, Colo., Catherine Sporski of Evergreen, Colo. and Sister Mary Meyler of Yonkers; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Sweetser of Stone Ridge, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. He was 68. Lawrence was born on November 23, 1936 in Boston, Mass., the son of Lawrence and Mary (Ahern) Sweetser. Lawrence had worked for Optimum Windows in Ellenville, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Only July 25, 1986, Lawrence married the former Natividad Irizarry in New Jersey. In addition to his wife at home, Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Yolanda Lopez of New Jersey; his sons, Lawrence G. Sweetser, Jr. of Stone Ridge, Ricardo Rivera of Ellenville, Jilberto Rivera of Stone Ridge, and Alejandro Rivera of Florida; and ten grandchildren.
