He was 63. Son of Ward and Jane Kelly Addis, he was born May 5, 1942 in Kingston, N.Y. He is survived by four sisters: Rose Hoffman of Walden, Lorraine Decker of Chester, Linda Ruger of Montgomery, and Darlene Esposito of Walden; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Horace Halstead. Arena, Mary Bunton Mary Bunton Arena of Middletown, a former merchandise coordinator at Woolworth's on North Street in Middletown, and Nursing Aide at St. Teresa Nursing Home, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus in Middletown, N.Y. She was 85. The daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Donnelly Bunton, she was born April 9, 1920 in Colden Park, N.Y. She was a member of the Town of Wallkill Happy Seniors and the Women's International Bowling Conference, as well as a member of A.H.R.C. Survivors include her husband, Angelo Arena, at home; and her children: Ernest Goodrich of Middletown, Cynthia Barone and her husband, Thomas, of Middletown, Katherine Arena of Middletown, and Kenneth Jacobs of Utica, N.Y. She is also survived by her sister, Elsie Pizza Candito and her husband, Tom; her brother, Charles Bunton and his wife, Ronnie, all of Deltona, Fla. and her grandchildren: Ernest Goodrich III, Tanya Goodrich, Jessica, Elizabeth and Anthony Barone, all of Middletown, Sp4 Thomas Barone and his wife, Denise, of Ft. Bosch & Sons Bus Company in Highland Falls, N.Y., and lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at home. He was 73. Son of the late John H. Bott, Sr. and Pearl Theresa Reynolds Bott, he was born March 7, 1932 in West Point, N.Y. He was married to Barbara A. Gazaway Bott, who survives him at home. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a driver for West Point Tours in Highland Falls, N.Y., and was a former member of the Fish & Game Club in Highland Falls. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John H. Bott Jr. of Middletown, and James S. Bott of Pine Bush; one daughter, Tammy L. Wilson of Highland Falls; and grandson, Noah J. Bott. Decker, of Warwick, a member of Local Union 17, a construction worker retired after 33 years from Henry Neilson Construction and lifelong area resident, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 72. The son of the late Norman and Beatrice Morgan Decker, he was born November 23, 1932 in Middletown. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Decker, at home, and their five children: George P. Decker of Warwick, Steven Decker and wife, Blanche, of Bellvale, Robert Decker of Holland, Mass., Doris Ann Hammond of West Boyleston, Mass. and Theresa Decker of Florida, N.Y.; brother, Eugene Decker and wife, Sandra, of Warwick; sisters, Doris Slockbower and Audrey Recca and husband, Joseph, all of Jensen Beach, Fla.; sister-in-law, Georgeann Decker of Warwick; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Norman Decker. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Gleason of Monroe, a homemaker and 55-year resident of the area, died October 13, 2005 at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, N.Y. after a long illness. Teresa was 88 years of age. The daughter of the late John and Stella Kasprzak Dasczenski, she was born on December 16, 1916 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Teresa was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church and served on many committees and the parish Council. She was also a member and past President of the Columbiettes Auxiliary Council 2079, Knights of Columbus, Monroe Council. Teresa is survived by her son, John and his wife Linda J. Gleason of Monroe, N.Y., one granddaughter Kellyanne Gleason-Mullady and her husband Darren of Milford, Pa., two great-grandchildren Christopher and Cassidy, also of Milford, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was pre-deceased by her beloved husband John F. Hayton, 88, an area resident since 1942, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at home. Born on November 21, 1916 in New York City, she was the daughter of William and Mary Elizabeth Metcalfe Purcell. Pearl was employed by the United States Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 1982 as the Postmaster of the Stormville Post Office. She was a member of: Hopewell Reformed Church; Harlem Valley Chapter #703, Order of the Eastern Star; life member of Stormville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; member of National Association of Postmasters of the United States; New York State Postmasters; New York Retiree of National Association of Postmasters; Sylvan Grange; and Flying Swans 1993 Club. On April 21, 1942 in New York City, she married John C. "Jack" Hayton. He predeceased her on December 8, 1986. Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Forde and her husband, Jim, of Hopewell Jct.; her son, Craig Hayton and his wife, Janet, of Marlboro; her sister, Elizabeth Jenkins; her grandchildren: Carol Forde Taylor and her husband, James, Scott Forde, James Forde and his wife, Joy Tesei, Jeffrey Forde, Karen Ellard and her husband, Charles, Christine Skulevold and her husband, Ivan, and Patricia Kramer; her great-grandchildren: Daniel and Morgan DeShetler, Samantha and Mackenzie Forde, Darius and Jasmine Taylor, Heather Wholtmann, and Katarina Skulevold; and several sisters, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Pelella, Joyce Joyce Pelella, a longtime resident of New Windsor, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2005 at Wingate at St. Francis. She was 81. Joyce was born on February 21, 1924 in Scotland to the late Leonard and Josephine Watt Pelman. Joyce met Eugene M. Pelella in London during World War II while Eugene was in the United States Air Force. After the War Eugene and Joyce were married and Joyce became a proud "War Bride". They returned to the United States to begin their new life as husband and wife. Joyce owned and operated AAA Copy and LaContesta Bridals in Vails Gate. She is survived of her cousins, Leonard Pearlman of Portland Oregon, and Rosemary Watt of Scotland. Son of the late Robert and Mildred Daucher Sanford, he was born May 26, 1949 in Mineola, N.Y.
