She was born November 11, 1932 in New York, N.Y., the daughter of Dominick Murphy and Lillian Demick. She was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Survivors include her husband Patrick F. Carton at home; two sons: John Carton & wife Fran of Newburgh, Rob Carton & wife Teresa of Cornwall; three daughters Lil Putnam & her husband Dana of New Windsor, Christine Gardner & her husband George of Altoona, Pa., Irene Mitchell & her husband Blake of Huntsville, Ala.; 13 grandchildren. Clearwater, Donald Alan Donald Alan Clearwater, age 63, of Dumfries, Virginia died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, George D. and Muriel Millspaugh Clearwater and one brother, Robert Clearwater. Survivors include two nieces, Cheryl Garrison and husband Greg and Robyn Whitmer and husband Donny; one nephew, Scott Clearwater and wife Michelle; two great-nieces; seven great-nephews; one aunt, Audrey Finch and several cousins. Haas, Lake Ariel, formerly of Wurtsboro, died Wednesday evening August 31, 2005 in the Brighten at Julia Ribuado Senior Care Center after an illness. Her husband is Louis Haas. Born in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Wahleg Hughes she was a graduate of LaGuardia Community College. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a greeter at the Wal-Mart in Monticello, N.Y. Hummel, Flora Sarine Flora Sarine Hummel, of Middleburgh, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 31, 2005 at Basset Hospital of Schoharie County, Cobleskill after a short illness at the age of 81. Flora was born on February 22, 1924 in Summitville, the daughter of the late Abraham and Flora Green Sarine. On July 26, 1941 she married Alonzo DeWitt Hummel who passed away on April 24, 1963. In 1974 she accepted the Lord when here grandson, Davied Allen Perry, went home to be with the Lord. Flora was a mother, grandmother, homemaker and great-grandmother. She resided in Middleburgh with her daughter Kathleen, granddaughter Jessica and grandson Zachary. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much, as they all loved her. Survivors include her daughters Harriet Hughes of Wurtsboro, Kathleen Perry of Middleburgh and Terri Hummel of Summit; her grandchildren: Deborah Smithem, James Hughes, Timothy Hughes, True Johnson, Kerine (Tina) Perry-Colley, Davied Allen Perry, Shawn Perry, Jessica Perry, Elizabeth Perry, Rachel Ann Hummel and Stephanie Chamberlain; 22 great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her sisters include Arlene Platt of Wurtsboro, Pauline Platt of Cornwall and Charlotte Marcantonio of Parsippany, N.J. She was predeceased by her husband, Alonzo Hummel; her son Richard Hummel; grandson Davied Allen Perry; granddaughter Rachel Ann Hummel; her son-in-law James Hughes Jr.; her sisters: Helen Wells Terwilliger, Bessie Sisco, Jessie Sarine and Dorothy Platt; and her brothers Arthur Sarine, George Sarine, Charles Nelson Sarine and David Sarine. Incardona, Giovanni "John" Giovanni "John" Incardona, of Port Jervis, a chef at the Apple Grill, Matamoras, Pa. and 5-year resident of the area, died Thursday, September 1, 2005 at his home. He was 55. He was born September 14, 1949 in Gela, Sicily, son of the late Antonino and Paola Fontes Incardona. He was the widower of Madallaya Cauthen Incardona. Surviving are his three daughters, Johnah Incardona of Kingston, Paula Incardona of Rochester, Jovana Incardona of Kingston; two sons, Luciano Incardona of Port Jervis, Johnathan Incardona of the US Marine Corps, stationed in Iraq; brother Rosario Crocifisso Incardona of Poughkeepsie; two sisters Laura Geremia of Gela, Sicily and Carmela Incorvaia of Poughkeepsie. "Dick" Knack, of White Sulphur Springs, a retired employee of the New York Telephone Co., and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at home. He was 72. The son of the late Raymond and Julia Schaefer Knack, he was born August 2, 1933 in Hortonville, N.Y. Dick was a member of the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church where he was a former lay reader and had served on various committees. He was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department for about 35 years where he was a former secretary and engineer. Dick had also volunteered in the maintenance of the Old White Sulphur Springs Cemetery. He had worked for 36 years at the telephone company and retired in 1991 as a switchman. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty L. Smith Knack at home; two daughters Shirley Dole and her husband Larry of Neversink and Kelly Heintz and husband Larry of Monticello; one son Forrest J. Knack and his companion Margie Quinlass of Narrowsburg; one brother Thomas R. Knack and his wife Audrey of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jason Dole, Brian and Kevin Knack and Julia Dole. Perkowski, Sarina Kubik Sarina Kubik Perkowski, a lifelong area resident and 25-year employee of Genpak in Middletown, died Thursday, September 1, 2005 in O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 46. The daughter of Frederick Kubik Sr. and Sandra VanRiper Kubik, she was born September 10, 1958 in Middletown. She was a member of the International Association of Machinists Union Local 2189; an avid bowler at Middletown Lanes and a member of Friday Night Mixed League. Sarina was a loving, caring and full-of-spunk person who was the life of the party. She enjoyed the outdoors, music, dancing and singing along. Survivors include her parents, Frederick and Sandra Kubik Sr. of Middletown; her husband Joseph J. "Perky" Perkowski at home in Middletown; sister, Laurene McGuire of Pawtucket, R.I.; brother Frederick Kubik Jr. of Middletown; two nieces Kerry and Kristy Kubik; two nephews Raymond Burton and Frederick Kubik III; aunts, uncles and cousins.
