She was 76. The daughter of the late Francois Raynaut and Denise LeFebre, she was born January 20, 1929 in Paris, France. She moved to Queens at age 17 from France. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in New Paltz and Gardiner Senior Citizens. She was the widow of Michael Branco who died Sept. 22, 1994. Survivors include her sons, Gary and Nancy M. Branco of Gardiner, Jeffrey "Jeff" F. Branco of Walden; grandsons Michael and Kyle Branco both of Gardiner; sisters, Frances Menusam of Long Island and Christine Coisson and husband Louis of Ulster Park; and several nieces and nephews. Gross Parker Formerly of the Bronx, N.Y. Elinor S. Gross Parker Cahill, a resident of Port Jervis for the past eight years, formerly of the Bronx, died Sunday, September 11, 2005 in Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was 82. The daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Shannon) Gross, she was born June 15, 1923 in New York City. She was a secretary for Beers Stearn's in New York City. A family statement reads, "Elinor was an avid reader who loved her cats and loved her family unconditionally. She loved sharing her memories of her life. Elinor loved and honored her country through out her life." Fay of Washingtonville, a retired Stationary Manager from Bloomingdales in New York City, where she worked for 40 years, passed away September 11, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus in Goshen, N.Y. Mary was 85 years of age. The daughter of the late James and Ellen Woods Fay, she was born September 8, 1920 in Astoria, N.Y. Mary was a member of Rocky Knoll Crafters and Rocky Knoll Club; and a founding member of the Grandparents and Me Program. She was also a weekly column writer for the Orange County Post in Washingtonville. Loving husband and father, Fred was married to his "bride", as he affectionately called Harriet, for over 69 years. Fred owned the Boulevard Food Market with his brother William Hartmann and also worked as a butcher for Shoprite in Tallman, N.Y., Hasbrouck Heights and Ramsey, N.J. He was an antique dealer for 50 years in Ramsey, N.J. and Wallkill, N.Y. He served as a Deacon in the Congregational Church in Closter, N.J. In 1934, he won the Diamond Glove Lightweight Boxing Championship sponsored by the Bergen Evening Record in Hackensack, N.J. Survivors include his wife Harriet Hartmann at home; son Warren F. Richard J. O'Neill, of Warwick, passed away at home on September 12, 2005. He was 85. The son of the late Richard and Florence Trandle O'Neill, he was born December 31, 1919 in Warwick. Mr. O'Neill was the former Postmaster of Warwick, and was a member of the Postmasters Association. He was a member of St. Stephens RC Church in Warwick. An Army veteran of WWII having served with the Anti Tank company, 414th Regiment, 104th Infantry Timberwolf Division, he later became a member of the Warwick VFW Post 4662 and was past Treasurer of the American Legion Post 214. Mr. O' Neill was one of the first commissioners of the Warwick Fire District, was a member since 1938 and past president and Treasurer of the Excelsior Hose Company. He also was the former Chairman and Treasurer of the Warwick Little League and Treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 45 as well as the Cub Scouts. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Louise Kirkpatrick O'Neill; three sons Dennis and his wife Cherrie of Tucson, AZ, John and his wife Cindy and Michael O' Neill all of Warwick; and one daughter Judy and her husband Vince Romanczyk of Warwick. He is also survived by four grandchildren Amy and Chris O' Neill and Paul and Brian Romanczyk. Also surviving are five nephews, and many friends. He was 67. The son of Philip F. and Helen Wisniewski Wortas, Sr., he was born January 23, 1938 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a member of the Ellenville Reformed Church, where he served as a Deacon of the Greater Consistory; he was a past president of the Pioneer Engine Co., Ellenville; and a member of Knights of Columbus. Phil graduated from Ellenville High School in 1955. After retiring, he became a realtor, and was a candidate for the Ulster County Legislator. Phil was a faithful friend of Bill W. for 28 years. Phil served in the United States Army Reserve. He is survived by his wife, Susan M. Bares Wortas, at home; six daughters: Helen O'Donnell and her husband, Patrick, of Kerhonkson, Janet Mekulik and her husband, Donald, of Napanoch, Mary Wortas and her partner, Lisa Holderman, of Asheville, N.C., Jennifer McClafferty and her husband, Aaron, of Napanoch, and Susan Marie Wortas at home, Jane Wortas at home; his son, Philip F.
