That is to say. First, I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah four hundred dollars. Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Julia Four hundred dollars. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane four hundred dollars. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my sons Hezekiah and Isaac all my homestead farm whereon I now live, long in the town of Goshen aforesaid, share and share alike and to their heirs and assigns forever excepting and reserving one fourth of an acre of land for a burying ground where my wife was buried adjoining the lands of David Roe. ITEM I give and bevise to my beloved grandson Frederic M C Smith all that farm, plantation and premises which I purchased of David Tompkins, lying adjoining Thompson's Mill Pond in the town of Warwick and County of Orange aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns forever subject never the less to the control of my son Parshall Smith whereby I hereby authorize and supervise to rent or lease from time to time the said farm. Or to sell and convey the same and to give a good and sufficient title therefore and out of the monies arising from such assets or sale after paying the necessary expenses for bringing up, educating and supporting the said Frederic M C Smith be put out to use or vested in some other real estate by my said son Parshall for the future support and benefit of my said grandson Frederic M C . ITEM I give and bequeath Hezekiah one good feather bed and suitable bedding for same. The remainder of my beds and bedding with all my household furniture I give and bequeath to my said daughter Sarah, Judia and Jane in equal shares and that they, the said Sarah, Julia and Jane are to remain and be supported in my dwelling house for one year after my decease and should they or either of them become infirm or otherwise unable shall have a suitable home in my dwelling house during the times she or they continue. And I do hereby order and devise my said sons Hezekiah and Isaac to pay the several legacies bequeathed to my said daughters Sarah, Julia and Jane within one year after my decease which several legacies are to be a Lein on the real estate deeded to my said sons Hezekiah and Isaac. All the residue of my estate, both real and personal(excepting a lot of land which I purchased of John Springstead, lying in the town of Goshen aforesaid intended for other purposes) I give and bequeath to my said sons Hezekiah and Isaac share and share alike. and I do hereby appoint my sons Parshall and Hezekiah Smith, Executors of this my Last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills y me made.
