I Chauncey Hinman aware of the uncertainty of life do make ordain publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say. After the payment of my funeral charges the ---------- of administering my estate and my lawful debts. I give devise and bequeath my property as follows. First. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Lydia Freeman wife of James R. Freeman-now living at ------Wis. the sum of $1,000.00. Second. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Harriet Alvord wife of Phineas Alvord now living at Shelby, NY the sum of $1,000.00. Third. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Shaw wife of Sam Shaw now living at Grass Lake, Mich. the sum of $1,000.00. Fourth. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Nelly Ayres wife of Wm. Ayres now living at Springfield, Mich. the sum of $200.00. Fifth. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Charlotte Miller wife of Andrew Miller now living at Wright's Corners, NY the sum of $1,000.00. Sixth. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Amelia Farmer wife of Geo. Farmer, now living at Hillside, Mich. the sum of $100.00. Seventh. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Almeda Blackmer wife of Lafayette Blackmer now living in NY City the sum of $400.00. Eighth. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Stearns wife of Edwin Stearns now living at Clare, Mich. the sum of $500.00. Ninth. I give devise and bequeath to my son David Hinman the sum of $1,000.00 Tenth. I give devise and bequeath to my son C.E. Hinman the sum of $5.00 From the ------- specified above I wish deducted all obligations which I may hold against the parties named and from the amount bequeathed Almeda Blackmer I direct that there be taken three ($300.00) as that sum has been previously paid her. But for the same I hold no obligation. I also direct that the remainder of my property after paying the -------- mentioned above in the manner specified be equally divided among my Grandchildren on their becoming of lawful age provided they are prudent and temperate and I specially direct that in case any of them are of intemperate drinking habits or Gamblers that they are to have no portion of any property I may have. ------, I make constitute and appoint William Van Horn of Hartland, Niag.
