Henry S. Jennings, 68, Volney Center, Passes
FULTON - Henry S. Jennings, 68, died early Tuesday night at 
his home in Volney Center after a short illness. He spent 
his life in the vicinity of Volney Center and operated a 
grocery store there 43 years. A native of Palermo, he was 
a member of Fulton Lodge of the Mccabees and of the Bristol 
Hill Congregational church.
Mr. Jennings married Miss Belle Simons in 1899.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Goulding of Connecticut; 
a son, Arba Jennings of Fulton, and a brother, Grant Jennings, 
of Dallas, Tex. Funeral services will be conducted at the home 
at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Harold Wright McGilvray officiating. 
Burial will be in Mount Adnah cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Wife: Mary Arabelle (Belle) Simons 'Jennings' & sister Clara M. 'Rowe' were 
left the grocery by their late father, Arba W. Simons. The grocery store was 
in the Simons family for 85 years.
