The Fulton Patriot, Thursday, February 27, 1936
Rowe—'Died, at his home, four miles east of the city, Feb. 22d, Eugene Rowe, 
aged 67 years. 
He is suurvived by -his wife Mrs. Clara Rowe, seven sisters ard a brother. The 
deceased in 
early life was a clerk in the Tucker grocery in this city, later moving to 
Volney Center, 
where he and Henry Jennings conducted a grocery for, years. He had held the 
position of 
town clerk and supervisor in the town of Volney. Funeral services were held 
from the home 
Wednesday afternoon; Internment in Mt. Adnah.

Additional Comments:
The grocery store was left to Clara & sister Mary Arabelle (Belle)'Jennings' 
by their father Arba W. Simons & in the Simons family for 85 years before it's 
sale in 1948.
