In the name of God, Amen.  I Moses Hoyt of the town of West Monroe in the
County of Oswego and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory and
considering the uncertainty of this past and transitory life do therefore
make, ordain, publish and dictate this to be my last will & testament. That is
to say, 

First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the remainder of
estate and personal, I give and bequeath before as follows: "to wit".  To my
beloved wife the sum of $100.00) in lawful money of the United States.  And to
my son Rufus, the land now owned by me being on the west side of the highway. 
And to my Azor, the remainder of my ---- and appurtenances, belongings--- and 
farming lots of all descriptions, stock of all kinds.  The household furniture 
as follows: After taking out what my wife brought here and made since living 
with me for her use.  To my granddaughter Nancy, one bed.  To my granddaughter 
Hannah, one bed.  To my granddaughter Mary one bed and the remainder equally 
between my two sons, share and share alike.  Likewise, I make condition and 
appoint my son Azor, George C. Hoyt & Chester C. Sedgewick to be the executors 
of this my last will and testament whereby revoking all former wills by me
made.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my --- and offered my seal the 
first day of March in year 1865.          Moses Hoyt (LS)

The above written instrument was subscribed by the seal of Moses Hoyt in our 
presence and acknowledged by him to us. At the same time published and --- the 
above instrument so subscribed to be his will & testament --- & at the
testators request --- --- --- have signed our names as witnesses hereto &
written --- our names --- and places of residence.
