Worcester Times Wed. Feb 24, 1926 page 1 c.2 Jefferson Clyde Magee Jefferson C. Magee one of the will known elderly residents of this village, passed away at his home in Brighton at three o'clock Monday afternoon of heart disease. Although he had been a sufferer from organic heart's disease for the past five years, he was able, nevertheless, to be about until a few days before the end came. Deceased was born in the town of Decatur on March 16, 1846, where he lived for a number of years. Later he resided at Westford and about thirty-five years ago moved to Worcester and took up the grocery business which he conducted until fifteen years ago when the business was closed out and he moved to Brighton where he has since lived. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Libbie Burhans who resides in the south, Mrs Lester Borst of Albany, and Mrs Jerry Rickard of Schenectady, and one son Samuel Magee of this Village. The funeral will be hel from his late home at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon and the body interred in Maple Grove Cemetery. Rev C.L. Herrick conducted the last services.
