Item I give and bequeath To my Sons Jedediah Pope John Pope Timothy Pope Squire Pope Gates Pope and Arnold Pope each fifty cents which makes the full of their shares of my Estate with what I have given them heretofore Item I give and bequeath to my son Seth Pope all the remainder of my personal estate except the remainder of my household furniture after my wifes third is taken out and that remainder of furniture I give and bequeath to my four daughters Phebe Smith Deborah Monroe Hannah Farmer and Elizabeth Thomson in equal parts and also all my Lands which I own in the State of Pennfylvania I give and grant unto my four daughters aforesaid and to their heirs forever in equal portions And I do constitute make and ordain my Son in law William Munro my Sole Executor of this my Last will and testament And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Teftaments will legacies Bequests and Executors by me made in any ways before named willed and bequeathed notifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten. Gershom Pope his mark Signed Sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Gersfhom Pope as his Last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto Subscribed our names Jedediah Peck Eliezor Paterson James Taylor Otsego County fs Be it Remembered that on the first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten personally appeared before me Ambrose Clark Surrogate of the County of Otsego aforesaid Jedediah Peck of Said County who being duly sworn teftefied and Said that he Saw Gershom Pope Sign and Seal the within Instrument in writing purporting to be the will of the Said Gershom Pope and heard him publish and declare the same us and for his last will and testament that at the time then of he the said Gershom Pope was of Sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the deponent and that his name Subscribed to the said will is of his own proper hand writing which he Subscribed as a witnefs thereto in the testators presence and that he Saw Eliezer Paterson and James Taylor the other witnefses to the said will Subscribe their names as witnefses thereto in the testators presence and in the presence of each other. Also be it remembered that at the same time William Munro the Executor of Said will likewise appeared before me and was duly sworn to the true performance and Execution of the same by taking the usual oath as Executor. Ambrose Clark Surrogate The people of the State of New York by the grace of God free and Independent To all to whom these presents shall come or may concern send Greeting Know ye that at Otsego in the County of Otsego on the first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten before Ambrose Clark Esq Surrogate of our said County the last will and testament of Gerfhom Pope deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) was proved and is now approved and allowed of by us and the Said deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death Goods Chattels and Credits within this State by means wherof the proving and registering the Said will and the granting administration of all and singular the Said Goods Chattels and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account thereof doth belong unto us the administrations of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the Said deceased and any way concerning his will is granted unto William Munro Executor in the said will named he being first duly sworn well and faithfully to administer the same and to make and exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and also to render a just and true account therof when thereunto required.
