That at or immediately previous to her death the said Martha Lickley was an inhabitant of the said County of Putnam by reason of which your petitioner has been informed and believes the Surrogate of said County has sole and exclusive power to take the proof of said last will and testament. That the said Martha Lickley has left the following next of kin surviving her Viz: 1. Children; James Lickley, Phebe wife of Absalom Mead, Sarah wife of Gilbert Mead & your petitioner residing in Philipstown aforesaid and Mary Loveless residing in the County of Orange & state of New York. 2. Grandchildren, being children of Margaret Anderson deceased a daughter of said testatrix: Vis Hannah Dunlap, John Anderson, Isaac Anderson, William Anderson, Martha A. McCullock and Margaret wife of Isaac Smith all residing in the City of New York. Also grandchildren, being children of Elizabeth Bell deceased a daughter of said testatrix Viz Jane Morris, Sarah wife of Peter Erickson, Samantha wife of John Peterson, Eliza wife of John Supply, Hetty Maria wife of John Roberts and Margaret wife of William Barton, residing in the City of New York, John Bell residing in Kingston, Ulster County and state of New York, Martha wife of George Fitzpatrick, residing in said Phillipstown and Moses Bell residing out of said County of Putnam in some place unknown to your petitioner. Also Frederick Hadden a grandchild of the said Elizabeth Bell by her deceased daughter Phebe Hadden, residing in the County of Westchester and state of New York. Also other Grandchildren, being children of William Lickley deceased a son of said testatrix Viz Daniel Lickley residing in the City of New York and Abraham Lickley, Sarah wife of John Ferris and Phebe wife of Sylvanus Warren residing in Philipstown aforesaid. Also Absalom Lickley being a grandson of testatrix and the son Abraham Lickley deceased a son of testatrix residing in Phillipstown aforesaid. Also three other grandchildren being children of Esther Angevine deceased formerly Esther Purdy wife of Elias A. Purdy Viz, John L. Purdy residing in Cortlandt, Westchester County and Betsey Ann Purdy residing in Phillipstown aforesaid and Abraham Angevine residing out of the county of Putnam & according to your petitioners best information in the County of Orleans & state of New York, also Henry Lickley a son of the said testatrix residing out of the County of Putnam and according to the best information of your petitioner in the province of upper Canada. And your petitioner states that the above named are all the next of kin and heirs at law of the said Martha Lickley deceased with their respective places of residence to the best knowledge and belief of your petitioner. And your petitioner being desirous that the said last will and testament of the said Martha Lickley deceased should be duly proved and recorded as and for the will of the personal property of said deceased, prays that such proceedings may be had as are by law required for that purpose.
