I have visited it several times to clear away the brush. I last visited it in 2002 with my four grandchildren. According to NY state law, cemeteries on private property belong to the descendents, not to the property owner. Several cemeteries have been bulldozed. One farmer used the gravestones for the foundation of his barn. Ms. Ellen Wiley who lives in Valley Falls, NY was the town historian. I believe she may have passed away.
