On the 15th of August A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eightyone personally appeared before me of the SuperiorCourt, a court of record within and for the County and State aforesaid,ALDRICH ADHEMAR aged 55 years, a resident of the Village of Hoosick Falls county of Rensselaer,State of New York, who being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is the identical, ALDRICH ADHEMAR, who was enrolled on the 6th day of November, 1861, in Company G of the 93 Regiment of New York Vols. commanded by Capt. GRAY, and was honorably discharged at near Alexandria, Va. on the 23 day of November, 1862, that his personal description is as follows: Age 55 years; height 5 feet 4 inches, complexion light, hair brown; eyes brown. that while a member of the organization aforesaid, in the service and in the line of duty at White House convalescent, in the state of Virginia,on or about the first day of July,1862 he contracted an injury from long marches and extreme exposure, causing his left leg to knob up and smell, which has continued to trouble him since. at this present time. That he was treated in hospitals as follows.COLLEGE HOSPITAL, BROOKLYN NY, from July until about last of October. That he has never been employed in the military or naval service otherwise than as stated above That since leaving the service this applicant has resided in the town of Hoosick, in the State of New York, and his occupation has been that of a Mechanic. That prior to his entry into the service above named,he was a man of good, sound, physical health, being when enrolled as a Mechanic. That he is now partially disabled from obtaining his subsistence by manual labor by reasons of his injuries, above described, received in the service of the United States; and he therefore makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the invalid pension roll of the United States. He hereby appoints with full power of substitution and revocation, C.O.Peters of Hoosick Falls, Rens.Co.N.Y., his true and lawful attorney to prosecute his claim. That he has never received nor applied for a Pension. That his POST OFFICE ADDRESS is Hoosick Falls county of Rensselaer State of New York.
