Couple to Mark 50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. James Luke of 1073 Palmer Avenue, Schenectady, who were married
in Troy May 5, 1893, will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary
tomorrow.

Mrs. Luke is the former Miss Alice Smith of Troy and Mr. Luke was born in New
Salem, Albany County.

They have lived in Schenectady 38 years and Mr. Luke worked for many years for
the American Locomotive Co.

Among their eight children is a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Galbraith of Troy.
