I Dirck Hansen of the town of Greenbush in the county of Rensselaer being weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say First I direct my Executor herein after mentioned to pay all my just debts of funeral expenses immediately after my decease. Second, I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife HELENA (Louw or Low) HANSEN the one third part of the income and profits of all my Estate both real and personal, as her due in right of dower, and the other two third to be disposed of by my Executrix & Executor herein after named, toward the maintenance, education & support of all my children until they shall arrive to year of discretion and from and immediately after the death or remarriage of my said wife I give and bequeath unto and amongst all my children share and share alike, all my Estate both real and personal of what kind a nature soever, to them and their respective heirs and assigns for ever, and my will is that in case any of my said children shall die before they arrive to lawful age or before they marry then and in full case the part of portion of him, her or them so dying shall go and be equally divided among the survivors or survivor of them. And I do hereby authorize my Executrix and Executor herein after named of the survivors or survivor of them from time to time to sell and dispose of all or any part or parts of my real and personal estate and the monies arising from time to time of such sales or dispositions to lend and put out in such way as they shall judge most productive and beneficial for the benefit of support of any said wife & children. And lastly, I do herby nominate my said wife Executrix, William Beeckman of the county of Schoharie, Esquire, Jacob Staats of the county of Rensselaer and James Van Rensselaer of the county of Albany, Esquire Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former will & wills by me heretofore made and declaring this to be my only last will of testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand of seal this third day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & ninety nine. Be it remembered that on the fifteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine personally came and appeared before me, Leonard Gansevoort Esquire Judge of the court of Probates of the State of New York, Nicholas Bleecker and being duly sworn did declare that he saw Dirck Hansen sign and seal the foregoing written Instrument purporting to be the Will of the said Dirck Hansen bearing date the third day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine and heard him publish and declare the same as and for is last Will and Testament that at the time thereof he the said Dirck Hansen was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of this deponent and that his name subscribed to the said Will is of his own proper hand writing which he subscribed as witness thereto in the Testators presence and that he the said deponent did likewise see James Van Ingen and Neeltie Bleecker the said other witness to the said Will subscribe ther names.
