Recorded in the County of Albany April 2nd 1763. In the name of God amen...I Jan Van Loon of Loonenburgh in the County of Albany...yeoman...It is my will that my dearly Beloved Wife Rebecca shall have a home in my Dwelling house which she pleases so long as she Remains my Widow. I give also to my Sd. Wife Rebecca all the money or cash on hand or owing to me. I give also to my sd. Wife Rebecca all my moveable Goods none excepted. I give to my Eldest Son namely Johannis Van Loon a horse for his Primogeniture or birth Right to Debarr (?) him of any Pretents of ? as being my Eldest son. It is my Will that my sd. son Johannis Van Loon his heirs and assigns shall have the farm which he now hath in Possession. It is my Will tht my son Petrus Van Loon his heirs and assignes shall have the farm that I have now in Possession with my Dwelling house and all other buildings upon the Land I have in Possession. Together with all my Right to that Land Laying at the East Side of my farm between the ? Kill ? and the path that leads from my Dwelling house to the sd. farm and also the now orchard (so called) laying on the south side of the sd. path. All that Right of Lands that I have that did belong to ? I give to six of my Daughters their heirs and assigns forever that is to say to Rachel one sixth part to Elsie one sixth part to Rebecca one sixth part to Elizabeth one sixth part to ? one sixth part and to Susanna one sixth part, my Daughter Marija having already had her part.
