That he did also see Noadiah Smith & Eleazer Smith subscribe their own proper names as witnesses to the said Instrument & that he did also subscribe his own proper hand & name thereto as witness in the presence of the said Elijah Thompson & also that on the twenty sixth day of November...Eleazer Smith & Daniel Thompson Executors in the said Will named were duly sworn to the faithful performance & Execution thereof by taking the usual oath as Executors dated at Troy, this twenty sixth day of November in the year of our Lord MDCCXCVIII. Know all men by these presents that I, Elijah Thompson of Greenbush in the County of Rensalerwick & State of New York do in this my last will & testament first agree that all my lawful debts be paid. Then I do agree that my son Samuel shall receive of my Estate Thirty Dollars & each of my other children One Dollar apiece. And I do now hereby make a reserve of the use of the above money to be paid to my children until my Wife's decease, then to be paid from my Estate and furthermore make a reserve of my right to a certain Lease of Lands Bounded North by Solomon Taylor & Randolph Maxon, West by Daniel, South by Eleazer Smith, East by Maj Bundy's [could be Tundy, Trendy, Mundy, ends with "ndy"] lands for as long as my wife shall live then to be returned to Daniel Thompson as according to the lease of the lands signed to said Daniel Thompson.
