Moser, 75 of Albrightsville died Thursday afternoon in St. Lukes, Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. He was the husband of Claire (Oleksey) Moser. They were married 33 years. Born in Brookyn, NY he was a son to the late Matthew and Vera Moser. He was a firefighter for New York Fire Department for 34 years before retiring from Truck #76 in 1987. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member o the New York City Emerald Society, NYFD Firelines, VFW Post in Lititz, PA, Penn Forest 1 and 2 fire companies, Lehighton Ambulance Assocation and the AARP. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Christopher of Brooklyn, N.Y., a stepdaughter Karen Teller of Boston, MA and a stepson John Oleksey of Mesa, AZ. He was predeceased by two brothers Charles and William and a sister Miriam Wahl. He has also left behind a pet bird Bucky, which he loved. Services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 A.M. from the David J. Stianche Funeral Home, 123 Center St. Jim Thorpe followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M in St. Joseph Catholic Church Jim Thorpe.
