Jordan, Anthony JORDAN Anthony Jordan 76, formerly of South Beach, died on June 8, 2005 in Lake Worth, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he relocated to Manhattan then moved to S.I. in 1970 and enjoyed the last year of his life with his son Anthony II and his family. Before retiring in 1991, Mr. Jordan enjoyed meeting various celebrities during his employment as a doorman in Manhattan. Mr. Jordan's beloved wife of more than 38 years, Mary C. Jordan, passed away in August, 2003. Mary and Anthony will be together to watch their son Anthony II graduate college this weekend, and are at peace with their much loved daughter Georgia. Anthony and Mary spent their years enjoying their five children, many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren's company. They will be missed and remembered always. His brother Thomas survives him in New York.
