Dixon, Joseph F. DIXON Joseph F. Dixon, formerly of West Brighton, 95, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Madison Pointe Center in New Port Richey, Florida. Born in Staten Island, he moved to Port Richey in 1978. He was a retired police sergeant for the NYPD. He was a previous owner of the Club Forest. Upon his retirement, he moved to Florida. There, he founded the S.I. Club of Pasco County. He was a member of the Saint Michael's Archangel Catholic Church, Sergeant Benevolent Association, Moose Lodge 135, the 1013 Club and the International Police Association. He was an avid golfer who achieved three hole-in-ones, the last at the age of 85. He was the oldest man to parasail at 88 years young. He kept busy boating and fishing from S.I. to Fla. He spent many weekends visiting yard sales. He also enjoyed bowling.
