Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Bridget a bedstead with one of my beds with the bed cloths and their appurtenances and one cow of her own choice in lieu of her share in the rest of my horned cattle and also to my wife Bridget a reasonable support during the time she remain my widow to be proportionally borne by my heirs for the security of which the said premises or personal estate both to each bequeathed with the articles of agreement of my son Peter stands bound. Item I give and bequeath four equal sixth parts of the residue of my bedstead, bed and bed cloths with their appurtenances unto my three sons Peter, Garret and Barnard and my daughter Maria to be equally divided among them and one sixth part thereof I give and bequeath unto my grandsons Resolvert Stephens and Henry House to be equally divided between them and the remaining sixth part thereof I give and bequeath unto the three children of my son Albert to be equally divided between them. Item I give and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my personal estate as follows. Unto my wife Bridget my sons Peter Garret and Barnard and my daughter Maria each and equal seventh part, to my grandsons Resolvert Stephens and Henry House each and equal fourteenth part and to the three children of my son Albert each and equal twenty one part. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Garret Oblenis and to his heirs and assigns forever that piece or parcel of land on which he now dwells designated on a map of my lands made by David Pyein the month of December in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven by the number two containing eighty six acres and sixty two hundredths of an acre including that part of the said piece or parcel of land already belonging to the said Garret. Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Maria for and during her natural life a lot of land designated on the map aforesaid by the number three containing forty six acres and three tenths of an acre also a lot of meadow likewise designated on the same map by the number three containing seven acres and seven tenths of an acre and after the decease of my said daughterthe said two lots shall descend in the same manner as if my daughter had died seized thereof in fee simple and without having disposed of the same by will. Item I give and devise unto my grandsons Resolvert Stephens and Henry House as tenants in common in equal parts to hold to them their heirs and assigns forever a lot designated on the same map by the number four containing forty six acres and three tenth of an acre the south bounds thereof to be one straight line also one meadow lotcontaining seven acres and seven tenth of an acre this adjoin on the north side of the lot of my son Peter meadow provided always that if either of my grandsons shall happen to die attaining the age of twenty one years and without lawful issue that then the share of him so dying shall go to the survivor of my said grandsons as in the state of fee simple. It is my will and I do hereby direct my executors hereaftyer named to sell at publick sal;e all my lands and meadows not mentioned in this my last will and testament and money arising from such sale first to pay all of my just debts and the overplus? if any there be to be divided amongst my heirs in like manner as the residue of my personal estate. I do also order and direct that my grandsons Resolvert Stephens and HYenry House shall have a free passage from the publick road to the lot number fouras the lane is at present between the land of my son Peter and the land devised to my daughter Maria and also the Blauvelts as is mentioned in their deed. Lastly I constitute and appoint my son Garret Oblenis and my friend Garret (I or J) Blauvelt executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby revoke all former wills and testaments by me made. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of October one thousand eight hundred and fourteen. Hendrick Oblenis Signed sealed published and declared by the said Hendrick Oblenis as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto set our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator and of each other Richd R Blauvelt, Sarah Blauvelt, Richd Blauvelt I Henry Oblenis make this codicil to my testament and last will. I do hereby order and direct my executors named in my will after my decease to sell one seventh part of the west end of the lot of land that is bequeath to my daughter Maria in my said will and the money arising from such to be divided as the residue of my personal [estate] and the said Ann [Ann has not been mentioned before] is not to share in the land bequeath to my daughter Maria on the account of a note whereon Henry Oblenis was surety and had to pay the note that was against Theodorus Polhemus the husband of the said Ann.
