10 May 1831
Jonathan Morey of Milton gave unto Degress Benedict and David Davis of the same place, all my
rights of the use of the water in the pond heretofore built for the use of the factory,
sufficient for the use and the privilage of going to and from said dam at all times, and at any
time to repair the same, and for other necessary uses and to have the privilege to put in a new
raceway to convey the water to the factory anywhere North of my garden.  The Dam is to remain
at the highest that it now is at 6 feet from where the water falls over the dam. Witness:
