Beginning at a stake standing 2 rods East of the middle line road, North 6 chains 50 links to a stake being in the SE corner of lot #3 of the 5th division of the said town, thence East 3 chains 6 links to a stake, South 6 chains 53 links, West 3 chains 6 links to the place of beginning, containing 1 Acre 3 rods 28 perches??? Witness: Henry Whitlock, Lina Rogers Book B p.235, 12 May 1801 Ammi Rogers of Ballston sold to Evan Davis of the same place for 40 pounds being part of lot #1 of the subdivision of the 10th General allotment of Ballston. Witness: George Bartlet, Isaac Denton Book I p. 39, 4 Apr 1809 Daniel Hill & Mary, his wife, of Greenfield sold to Evan Davis of Greenfield for $500.00. Land in the County of Saratoga being lot #20 of the smaller lots into which lot #2 in the subdivision of lot #7 of the 16th General Allotment of the Patent of Kay, containing 50 Acres of land. Witness: Daniel Hill Jr. Book 11 p. 394, 15 Sep 1821 John Bowers of Ballston morgaged to Evan Davis & Sally, his wife, of Greenfield for $150.00. Land in Ballston, contining 3 Acres Book K p. 60, 3 Dec 1823 George B. Putchen?? & Betsy, his wife, of Ballston sold to Evan Davis of Greenfield for $173.00 land in Ballston, beginning at the middle line road , so called that runs through the town of Ballston at the NW corner now in possession of Luke Miller containing 3 Acres.
