The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ =============================================================== This inadventure made the 29 Sept. 1834 between Enoch Davis and Hannah his wife of Saratoga Springs, and John Davis and Mary his wife of Linkleon, Chenango County of the first part and James Davis of Saratoga Springs of the second part, witness that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of $200.00 paid to them for all that certain lot of land situated in Saratoga Springs being about 3 Acres of lot #2 in the subdivision of lot #5 of the 15 Alotment of the patent of Kay. And the whole of lot #2 is bounded as follows, Beginning at the middle of the channel of the Kay. Creek being the South West corner of lot #3 aforsaid subdivision, thence along the channel of the creek on the south bounds, thence East 16 chains 33 links to the Southeast corner in the channel of the creek, in the west bounds of the lot B, thence along the same North 32 chains 29 links to a stake and heap of stones, thence west 16 chains 33 links to a stake and heap of stones standing in the East bounds of lot #VI of the general allotment, thence along the same South 32 chains & 29 links to the place of beginning. Containing 45 1/3 Acres, all of which except what is herein after described is intended to be conveyed and the part which is not intended to be conveyed is owned and occupied by Enoch Davis and is in the North West corner of said lot, beginning at a white ash tree standing in the East bounds of lot #6 of the 15 allotment. Mary Davis personally came and said she sold with out fear of her husband.
