Vol 2, p. 454, 1 Jul 1799 Eluid Davis & Rachel, his wife, merchant, of Charlton, of the first
part Morgaged to Isaac Wright & Elizabeth Haddock,  of New York City, administrator of John W.
Haddock of the second part. Land in Charlton, beginning at the NW corner of a stake in the
Center of the East & West road. East  8 rods to a stake, South as the old line runs in the
center of the South road that leads to Schenectady, 20 rods, West 8 rods North on Daniel
Barkers line, 20 rods,  part of lot #5 owned by Jesse Cundy,  Containing one Acre of land.

5 Sept 1799 Joseph Palmer & Jennet, his wife, of Ballston morgaged unto Eluid Davis of
Charlton, trader, for 66 pounds.   lot #3 of Ballston of the Kay. Patent Recorded 13 Sep 1800
