Book 1 p.116, 4 Sep 1792 Jabez Davis & Sarah, his wife, of Charlton, mortgaged unto Samuel
Franklin of New York City for the sum of 231 pounds, 6 shillings.  Part of lot #5 of the 5,000
land tract in Charlton. Beginning at the North East corner of John Hays land, South 10 chains
to a stake standing on Joseph Gundrups?? East line. Sarah's Right of  Dower. Witness: James
Gordon John Franklin Jr.

Book 1 p.345, 6 Nov 1794 Jabez Davis, Gentleman, of Charlton mortgaged from Henry Davis,
Merchant,  of Stillwater.  The dwelling house, lot and ground, lying in Waterford.  Lot #76 in
the map of Waterford. For the sum of 280 pounds

Book 2 p.211, 11 Feb 1797 Jabez Davis of Ballston mortgaged to Reuben Sprague fo the sum of 490
pounds.  Land in Ballston of the Kay. Patent.  Beginning in the middle line road
