Whereas the said Isaac Freeman in order to enable his said executors fully to carry into effect his intentions did in and by his last will and testament authorize and impower his said executors in any manner which they should ________ properly to make sale of an execute and deliver deeds to convey all or any part of his the said testator's real estate. Now therefore know ye that by virtue and authority to us given by the said Isaac Freeman in his last will and testament we said Isaac Freeman and Sarah, executors as aforesaid in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred seventeen dollars and 50 cents to us in hand paid by Reuban Freeman of the Town of Saratoga County and state aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given granted bargained sold convey and by these presents to do give grant bargained sell and convey with the said Rubin Freeman his heirs and assigns to equal undivided one half (1/2) of the following described parcel of real estate which was the property of the said Isaac Freeman situate in the Town of Stillwater County and state aforesaid bounded and described as follows: being a part of lot on which the said Isaac Freeman resided at his decease, bounded on the north by lands owned by Joseph Baker on the east by lands owned by James and Robert Walker, on the South by lands owned by Nielsen's and the heirs of Aaron Knights deceased and Michael Condon, on the west by lands owned by Michael Condon and the public highway and lands owned by Robert Walker. To have and to hold the equal undivided one half of the aforesaid described and aforegranted the premises to him said Reuben Freeman heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof forever. And we said Isaac Freeman and Sarah Freeman do covenant with the said Reuben Freeman is heirs and assigns that we are lawfully the executors of the last will and testament of said Isaac Freeman and we have not made or suffered any encumbrance on the hereby granted premises of and well we were appointed executors of said Isaac Freeman and that we have in all respects acted in making this conveyance in pursuance of the authority granted to us and by the said last will and testament of the said Isaac Freeman deceased. In testimony whereof we have here unto set our hands and seals to seven day of June 1847. Signed in the presence of William Turner William F. Dotie Saratoga County On the sixth they of December in the year 1847 Sarah Freeman came before me and personally knowledged that she had executed the within conveyance. And I certify that I know the said Sarah Freeman who made the said acknowledgement to be the individual described in and who executed the said coveyance. John B. Wright, Justice of the Peace Saratoga County of New York I hereby certify that on this seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred forty-seven, before me personally appeared Isaac Freeman to me known to be the individual described in and who executed the within indenture and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed and that there is an ereasure of two words in the first page or leaf and the fifth line from the bottom.
