Clisbee Galway, Saratoga Co., NY 21 March 1834 5 « Acres, $130 This indenture made the twenty first of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four Between Charles Rowley of the Town of Monrovia County of Cayuga and state of New York and Polly Canfield David Albert and Olive Allen his wife of the Town of Malta?? Abraham Johnson and Laurania Johnson his wife of Franklin in the County of Delaware and state aforesaid (by their attorney Erastus Edgerton of the said town of Franklin) brother and sister and heirs at law of Mary Rowley deceased late of the Town of Galway in the County of Saratoga and state aforesaid of the first part and Polly B. Clisbee of the Town of Galway aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars money of account of the United States in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby Confessed and Acknowledged have remised released and quit claimed and by these by these presents doth remise release and quit claim unto to the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to her heirs and assigns forever All her right and title interest property pertain and ??? to all that certain piece parcel and building lot of ground situate lying and being in the Town of Galway aforesaid being a part of lot number fourteen in subdivision of lot number six in the fourteenth allotment of the Patent of Kayadoseras and is bounded as follows Beginning at a stake in the center of the highway standing twbchains and five links north of this corner of lots number 11.12.13 &14 hence west along Saml Shepherds south line ninety eight feet to a stake thence south eighteen and a half feet to a stake thence East ninety eight feet to a stake thence North fourteen and a half feet to the place of Beginning containing the 5 and 1/5 berohes?? or acres?? together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging in any way appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders also unto af??? and profits thereof and also all the estate right title interest claim and claiming whatsoever of the and said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof to the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns to the site and only prosper and benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof the party of first part have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first above written. signed and sealed and delivered in the presence of Jesse H. Of Miscellaneous Records papers 73 & 74 21th March 1834 And having examined the said indenture and finding therein no material alterations erasures or interlinations do allow the same recorded Eli Smith Commissioner of deeds I certified foregoing to be a true copy of the original with the certificate of acknowledgement thereof recorded March 5 1834 at 8:00 a.m.
