This Indenture made the 10th day of December in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred thirty-six (1836) between Abraham Leggett of Stillwater
and County of Saratoga in the State of New York and Sarah his wife of the
first part and Robert Walker of the County of Saratoga and State of New York
of the second part.  WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of three hundred ($300.00) dollars lawful money of
the United States of America to them in hand paid by said party of the second
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof its hereby confessed and knowledge have granted bargained sold remised
released aleined enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do grant
bargained sell remised release alein enfeoff and confirm unto the said party
of the second part and he's heirs and assigns forever all that piece or parcel
of land situate and lying in the Town of Stillwater Beginning at the southeast
corner of land owned by John Garmain and running north 13 degrees 35 minutes
east seven (7)chains 25 1/4 links to a stake thence Southerly 78 degrees 65
minutes east 13 chains 79 links thence South 13 degrees 35 minutes west seven
chains 25 1/4 links to a stake in the Swamp  thence north 78 degrees 65
minutes west 13 chains 79 links to the place of  Beginning and Containing ten
acres of land. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging....
