WITNESSETH that the party aforesaid of the first part for and in consideration of sum of two hundred (200) pounds lawful money of the state of New York to him in hand paid by the party aforesaid of the second part before ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release endeoff and confirm unto the said Ephriam Annable and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Saratoga within the limits of a patent known by the name of Saratoga patent and is part of lot No. 17 of the grand division of said patent bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a small Chestnut sapling marked standing on the north line of said lot No. 17 and running thence Westerly on the north line of said lot No. 17 30 chains 34 links to the North East corner of land belonging to Joel Ketchum from thence Southerly on said Kethchum's East line 72 twenty-three chains thence South 85 degrees East 21 chains 83 links thence on a straight line to the place of the beginning and containing 60 acres of land together with all and singular remnants and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining to it....
