WITNESSETH, that the said Benjamin Leggett for and in consideration of the Sum of eighteen (18) pounds and ten (10) shillings to him well and truly paid by the New Loan-Officers of the County Saratoga aforesaid, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released, enfeoffed, and confirmed, and by these presents DOTH grant, bargain, sell, align, release, enfeoff, and confirm to the New Loan-Officers of the County of Saratoga aforesaid and their Successors and Assigns forever, ALL that Certain Tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County Saratoga within the limits of a Patent known by the name of Saratoga of Patent and is a part of Lott number 17 of the grand division of said Patent bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a small Chestnut sapling marked standing on the north line of said lot No. 17 and running thence Westerly on the north line of the lot No. 17 thirty (30) chains thirty-four (34) links to the north east corner of land belonging to Joel Ketchum from thence southerly on said Ketchum's east line Twenty-three chains thence South eighty-five degrees East twenty-one Chains eighty-three links, thence on a straight line to the Place of Beginning and Contains Sixty (60) Acres of land.
