He lived and died in the same house in which his father resided during the memorable battles of the revolution which occurred in that vicinity. A portion of the house was occupied by Gen. Poor as his headquarters. Many visitors to the battle ground will recollect the kind hospital treatment which they received at the hands of Mr. Neilson. He was the last man in the neighborhood of Bemis Heights who associated with the soldiers of the revolution. He leaves behind him a large number of descendants. - Greenwich (Wash. Co.) Journal.
