Waldron, Surrogate I, Isaac Howland, of the Town and County of Saratoga and State of New York, do make and publish and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following: that is to say: First – I give and bequeath and devise to my wife Elvira the whole of my estate, both personal and real, of every name and nature whatsoever, to be used and enjoyed by her during the term of her natural life, and from and immediately after her decease, I give and bequeath the same as follows. Second, from and immediately after my said wife's decease, I give and bequeath to my grandson Warren B. Wright, the sum of one dollar, and to each and every of my four children Ruby, Amanda, Rhoda and Louisa the sum of one hundred dollars. Third, from and immediately after my said wife's decease, I direct that the rest and residue of my estate, after paying the above mentioned bequests, be divided into seven equal shares one of which shares, I give and bequeath to each of my six children, Ruby, Amanda, Rhoda, Louisa, Laura Ann and Esther, and the remaining seventh share I give and bequeath, half and half alike to Carrie Stafford and Indron Stafford, children of my daughter Jane. Lastly, I hereby appoint Isaac Cormsby of the Town of Waterford in said county and state, sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two.
