Transcribed from SAMPUBCO copy by Jeffrey J Lape Will I Rufus Lape of the town of Halfmoon in the County of Saratoga and State of New York do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows. First- I give, desire and bequeath unto my wife Eunice G. Lape the use and income during her natural life of and from all my estate of every kind and wherever situate and also so much of the principal of said estate shall be necessary for the comfortable support & maintenance of my said wife, and of my daughter Gracie Lape. Second- Upon the death of my said wife, I give, desire and bequeath unto my said daughter Gracie Lape, all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate of every kind and wherever situate. Third- In case of the death of my said daughter before the decease of my said wife, I then give, desire and bequeath the said residue, & remainder of my estate unto my brothers William Lape and Henry Lape and my sister Augusta Weed and the survivors or survivor of them- Fourth- I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my brother Thomas Lape and my friend Samuel A.
