The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. *********************************************************************** Saratoga co NY Will Book vol. 36 page 522 LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HARMON HAGADORN I, HARMON HAGADORN residing at the Village of Corinth, Saratoga County, NY being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say: FIRST: After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, LAURA HAGADORN, the use of, for her own occupancy, or the right to lease, or rent, the house and premises now owned and occupied by me situated on the north side of Sherman Avenue in the Village of Corinth, NY during her natural life time with the right to collect the rents, therefor and apply the same to her support. But in case my said wife LAURA HAGADORN shall remarry again, the said property and the right to the occupancy and the right to collect the rents and profits thereof shall cease, and said property shall revert to and become the absolute property of my four children or their next of kin and heirs at law. SECOND: I further give my said wife the right, in case it shall become absolutely necessary for her support and maintenance to mortgage said above described premises for a sum of money not to exceed, one hundred dollars per year, for each and every year she shall remain unmarried and my widow as above stated. But in case she re-marry again this right also to cease. THIRD: I give, devise, bequeath unto my said wife all my household furniture of every name and nature, and my personal property including all (money) and personal property of which I may be possessed to be hers absolutely. FOURTH: And in case my said wife should remain unmarried until death, the said real estate shall be divided equally among my said children and their heirs as above stated. And I further direct that at my death that a proper and suitable headstone be erected at my grave, to be paid for from my said Estate. FIFTH: I further direct that in the case of the death of my said wife while still my widow as aforesaid, that she receive a proper burial, and that a suitable headstone be erected at her grave, which shall be paid for from my estate or such portion as shall remain thereof. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint LAURA HAGADORN my said wife to be executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
