Transcribed from SAMPUBCO copy by Jeffrey J Lape Will I John Lape of the town of Halfmoon NY do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in form and figures as follows to wit: First- I order my Executrix hereinafter named to pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be. Second- I give, devise and bequeath the use and income of all of the rest and residue of my property both real and personal to my wife during her lifetime or while she shall remain unmarried for her support and for the support of my children and if the interest and income of said property shall be insufficient for that purpose, she may use such part of the principal of said property as shall be necessary for that purpose; and immediately upon the death or remarriage of my said wife, all of the rest and remainder of my said property, I give, devise and bequeath to such of my children as shall be living at that time, share and share alike. And if any of my children be dead at that time, leaving them children surviving, the said children shall take the share their parent or parents would have taken, had such parent or parents been living. Third- I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife, Martha Lape, Executrix of this my Will, giving her full power to sell or convey any or all of my said real property. Fourth- I hereby revoke any and all former Wills by me made. In Testimonial hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of January 1890. John Lape (L.S.)
