Executors "Tyle" Willard and wife Mary, also named Emma Pratt widow of the late Capt. Walter Pratt. Be it remembered that on the thirteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirty one, came before me George Palmer Surrogate of said County, Mary Albro the widow of George Albro late of the town of Hadley in said county deceased and proved to said Surrogate, that the said George had no relations of any description living at the time of his death and presented for probate and recording a certain instrument in writing purporting to be the last will and testament of the said Geroge bearing date the second day of August, in the year of our Lord, One thousand, Eight hundred and twenty and Neazer Scofield and Lydia Philo Sherman, on the said thirteenth day of May and Jacob Hall, on the twenty sixth day of July 1831 being duly sworn did say that they saw the said George sign and ____, publish and declare the said instrument now shown to thus as and for his last will and testament And at the time of the execution thereof the said George was of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their knowledge And belief and free from restraint and competent to divest real estate in the respects and that the said nearer dying & Jacob subscribed their names to said will as witnesses in the presence of the said testator and of each other. So appearing to said Surrogate that the said George was in all respects competent to devise real estate and not under restraint of lawful __ and that said will was duly executed the same is admitted to be recorded in the following words and figures. The last will and testament of Geroge Albro of the town of Hadley, Saratoga county and State of New York. I George Albro considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory blessed by almighty God for the same/ / do make and publish this my last will testament in a manner ___following, that is to say. First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Albro all my personal and real estate situated lying or being in the town of Hadley, county of Saratoga and state of New York, to be disposed of as she shall think proper. Second I give and bequeath to wit Emma Pratt widow of the late Capt. Walter Pratt the privilege of a home with the family so long as she remains a widow. And lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of that kind of nature so ever I give and bequeath the same to my said beloved wife Mary Albro whom with Tyle Willard, thereby appoint sole executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. For witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of August in the year of our lord one thousand, eight hundred and twenty.
