And the said deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death, goods, chattels, or credits with in their state by means where of by the proving and registering said will and the granting administration of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased and also the auditing, declaring and final discharging the accounts there of doth belong unto us. The administration of all and singular the goods, chattels & credits of the said deceased and anyway concerning his said will is granted unto James Van der Barker esquire and Lewis Williams the executors in said will named they being first and duly sworn will and faithfully to administer the same and to make and exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels & credits of the said deceased and to render a just and true account thereof, where thereunto required. In determining where of we have concerned the head of office of the said Surrogate to be hereabout official. Witness George Palmer Surrogate of said county this fifth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. And of an ____ ____ the fifty ____. I Thomas Williams of the town of Northumberland in the county of Saratoga and the State of New York do make and declare this my last will and testament in the manner following: First, my will is that all my just debts be paid. Also I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary all my personal estate except what is here after otherwise devised. I also give and devise unto my wife Mary and John A. Williams all my real estate of which I die served and the returns, yields and profit thereof for and during their natural lives and from and after the decease of my said wife and John A. Williams I give and devise the said real estate to my children Margaret McDowall, wife of Thomas McDowall, Rebecca D. Fisk, wife of Benjamin Fisk, Lewis Williams, Elizabeth Williams & Katharine Williams as servants in common and to their heirs and offspring forever. I also give and bequeath unto John A. Williams, one good cow, one goose bed and bedding to himself, his heirs and offspring forever. Lastly I do hereby appoint my wife Mary Williams, James Van der Barker esquire and Lewis Williams my executors of this my last will and testament, signed, sealed, published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness there to done. Sealed, signed, executed and witnessed this twenty eighth day of February eighteen hundred and twenty five. The said Williams justified before executed. Saratoga county be it remembered that on this fifth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and twenty eight personally came and appeared before me George Palmer Surrogate of said county David Rouse who being duly sworn declared that he saw Thomas Williams late of the town of Northumberland declared, sign and seal an instrument in ____ purporting to be his last will and testament bearing date twenty eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five the preceding is a copy and heard him publish and declare the same as & for his last will and testament and that at the time thereof the said Thomas Williams was of sound mind , memory and understanding to the best of the knowledge and belief of this deponent and that his name subscribed to said will is of his own proper hand to witness which he subscribed as is ____ thereto in the presence of the testator and that he together with David Shaw and Reed Lewis the other subscribing witnesses to said will subscribed their names there to in the presence of the testator and of each other. And be it further remembered that on the same day and year aforesaid also came before said Surrogate James D Van der ___ and Lewis Williams the executors in said will named and were duly sworn to the faithful performance and execution thereof.
