(Quay) Crawley CORINTH – Helen E. (Quay) Crawley, 83, formerly of Corinth, died Tuesday (Oct. 11, 1994) at the Hallmark Nursing Center, Queensbury, following a long illness. Born on Jan. 3, 1911, in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Yates) Quay. Mrs. Crawley graduated from Draper High School. She married Thomas Crawley on June 9, 1934 in Schenectady. He died on Dec. 31, 1977, after 43 years of marriage. Mrs. Crawley was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Corinth and the Schenectady Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. One Brother, Edward Quay, died before her. Survivors include one son, George “Glenn” Crawley of Liverpool; one daughter Anne Y. Crawley of Corinth; one sister, Christina Ballert of New Port Richey, Fla; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters; three nieces and one nephew and several cousins. Services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Corinth, 203 Palmer Ave., Corinth, with Rev. John Aldridge, pastor, officiating. Private Burial will be at the Fischer Cemetery, Schenectady. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Densmore Funeral Home Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Corinth, 203 Palmer Ave., Corinth, 12822.
