Bub, Jr. Schenectady County, New York Will Book Vol. S, page 342 Last Will and Testament: I, Mrs. Eva Barrett of the town of Glenville in the County of Schenectady and State of New York being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following, that is to say: First- I direct that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. Second- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my son George Barrett a mortgage which I hold against Mr. Fritz and Frederika Weigleb of Glenville, NY, amount of mortgage is sixteen hundred dollars (1600.00), also my watch and chain and organ. Third- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my son Grover Barrett my house and lot at Glenville, NY. Fourth- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my sister Hattie Barrett of Glenville my sewing machine and my plush coat. Fifth- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto Miss Nettie Barrett of Glenville, NY all of my clothes. Sixth- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my sister Libbie Bierce of New York my gold pin and silver comb. Seventh- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto Mrs. Effie Bub of Albany, New York my Grandmothers blue plates. Eighth- I hereby give, devise and bequeath Alice Barrett of Galway, New York my old fashion looking glass that hangs in the front room. Ninth- I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto Mary Barrett of West Milton, New York my diamond ring and garnet ring and to her sister Ethel Barrett my plain gold ring. The other ring to be buried with me. Tenth- My silverware, beds and bedding and all other things I have are to be divided between my two sons George and Grover Barrett of Glenville, NY, share and share alike. Lastly- I hereby appoint George Barrett of Glenville, NY, executor of this, my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name the 10th day of March in the year Nineteen Hundred and Fifteen. Mrs. Eva Barrett (L.S.) We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do certify, that on the 10th day of March 1915, Mrs. Eva Barrett the testatrix above named subscribed her name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and hearing, declared the same to be her last Will and Testament, and requested, us and each of us, to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presence of the testatrix and of each other, on the day of the date of the said Will, and write opposite our names and our respective places of residence.
