     Raymond WILLIAMS was born 06 Jul 1896 in Middleburg,Schoharie County,NY. He was the son of
Lleuellyn (Lewis) WILLIAMS (born 05 Jul 1870,Middleburg,NY) and Mollie E. WAINWRIGHT (born Mar
1876,NY) Raymond was a Veteran of WW1 having served in the Army. He was"musterd" gassed while
serving in the war, coming home to NY,the 21st of June 1919 on the U.S.S. Leviathan. He married
Margaret Jane SCHMITT in NY. (born 12 Jan 1898 Hamilton, Madison County, NY. The Daughter of
Paul W. SCHMITT b. May 1874,Germany & Mary A. GIVENS  b. Mar 1873,NY) Margaret & Raymond had 4
children all born in NY; Raymond JR. born ? ,Shirley Ann b. 1926; Sharon Mary b. 1929 & Robert
Francis WILLIAMS  b. 1938. Margaret having being married first to Mr. ALLEN , children of that
marriage were, Joyce ALLEN & Stan ALLEN. In 1945 Raymond,his wife, 2 daughters & son Robert
left NY for CO. and in 1946 moved on to Oakland,CA. Raymond was a sheet metal worker and
mechanic who was very good at his trades. The family moved on to Fontana & then the Gardena/
Torrance Area, their daughter Shirley married Leroy NELSON , they had 4 children: Sandy L. ,
David, Mark  & Sheena A. NELSON. Sharon married Richard Barton ACKERMAN their child was Richard
Ray ACKERMAN, 2nd she married Ernest Burnett DUNCAN and had Allen James  & Shelly Lynn DUNCAN.
3rd she married Kenneth J. Williams of PA. 4th  she married Ferdinand F. JAYNES of IN.  Robert
Francis Williams  had no children. Margaret died 22 Mar 1952 in Torrance, CA. Raymond married a
second time to Thelma V. J. CAIN_RILEY and moved to the Pomona area for several years. Raymond
& his wife retired to Banning, CA. ,where he lived until his death on 18 Jan 1978.
